Tonight's selection is a barrel proof, single barrel version of the Boone County Founder's Reserve rye. We're doing barrel proof picks this month, and since I had the opportunity to tour Boone County this week, it seemed logical to profile the. I mean, it's kind of like seeing a rock concert and then wearing their t-shirt the next day. Kids still do that, right?
This is a "rebroadcast" of our Facebook Live "Bourbcast". Better than a podcast, the bourbcast is a live video broadcast, interactive, and can be seen LIVE each Thursday at 7:00pm EST, at beautifulbourbon

    I don't take no lip
An' this cannon on my hip
    Lemme tell ya, boy,
    It ain't no toy
I wear a hat just like a Mounty
I'm the sheriff o' Boone County
An' boy, you in a heap o' trouble
Kenny Price did that song in 1970. He was from Boone County, KY. 🤠
15:32 I fairly often get a butter note from bourbon, but most reviewers seem not to. This stuff sounds good, though I do prefer bourbon to rye.
17:31 Do the hustle! You need a disco ball, KC. 🙂
22:45 You could make 'em part of your coat of arms - two crossed barrel staves, proper. 😂

Nice song! Butter isn’t a frequent note for me, but this one certainly had it!
