Would love to see this go even darker! I think this would also give a excuse to improve the formula AGAIN basically if you guys keep it up you’ll have fans globally regardless of skin color
I seriously need to look into getting Korean foundation. I’m an American but I’m so pale my skin looks straight up red most of the time. 90% of the time americans brands don’t have a shade light enough, or it has literally no undertone to it.
I have the same issue. Getting color matched is always a challenge for me and my French and Irish skin... if I could get a full coverage foundation to conceal my scars and redness, that I can trace over my freckles with a pencil afterwards, it would be my go to
Look at the demographic in that part of the world... the darkest shade will be a medium tan. You have people over there literally bleaching their skin and avoiding the sunlight in general as being pale is the ideal in that part of the world. If you weren't tan, it meant you were well off enough to not have to work outside... that part of the world is also super conservative as well as super patriarchal in many of their views...
ikkkkk. I did a regular survey for florasis (chinese brand) and said that I’d like more foundation colors and they literally pulled out a pretty good range for a brand that only had three pale colors. so happy about that.
More shades in general is never a bad idea. So glad they listened and are doing what they can to improve! Also so glad you were able to find an exact match!
I don’t think he emphasized “korean makeup brand” that much… some people just really don’t understand that some asians bleach their skin or cover up their skin a lot just to stay really pale, and these are Korean beauty standards, not American or European so they won’t have shades for darker people out for a long long while
I’m around your color or slightly lighter excited to see. I always wanted to try cushion foundation as it looks glowy but it’s not widely available internationally the United States where I’m from.
I love this! I love seeing companies listen! If you need any ideas maybe very fair olive or just a whole line of olive tones 😭? Most olive people are only included in medium shades but we exist across the whole spectrum and we usually can only find matches in powder foundation 😭
You look so good using this makeup... In india guys dont usually do it ..but now few guys are getting use to it .. But i love it seeing u. This is so cool
Thank you so much for not being elitist & making more product to make yourselves more money. It's about time you stopped being wilfully obtuse to purposefully exclude darker skinned peoole & to uphold a long antiquated standard! Thank you so very much.
I had such high hopes for this cushion but it’s so yellow/olive looking. It enhances your texture and I use all the hacks. I saw a lady adding face oil to it 😂. That’s too much for me sad enough 😢
There's nothing wrong having darker shades. But people should know it's a Korean brand with majority of their people having fairer skin or favors the paler skin compared than the ones that are outside of their country. And if they actually want some global recognition, they need more darker or more range in shade than just targeting their original fairer or paler consumers. And people need to understand that brands will only listen to their consumers when they are being in demand in the long run. Therefore, the range or shade will still depend towards what's in demand needs whether they are not listening or not to consumers requests.
That might be a while. Brands have to meet certain criteria before even being allowed to market and sell in the US, and the states and parts of Europe will likely be the only places that those lovely dark shades would successfully sell... gotta remember: Korea is a place where they're literally bleaching their skin for the beauty standards that they have. If you're tan, you're seen as ugly. Also there's much disdain for freckles
