Be it any condition, a healthy diet is a road to fast recovery. Watch this video for some quick and easy recipes to help you recover from Fibroids!
    -----------------------------
    Fibroids
Fibroids are non-cancerous tumours that often grow in or around the uterus during a woman’s childbearing years
    -----------------------------
    Symptoms to look for:
    • In severe cases one may suffer from backache, pelvic
    pain, constipation & frequent urination
    -----------------------------
Food groups to consume in fibroids:
    1. Omega 3 fatty acids: They help to reduce the inflammation
    and arrest fibroid growth
Foods to consume: Flax seeds & fish like salmon, mackerel & tuna
    2. Fiber: Helps in getting relief from constipation and also
removes excess estrogen hormone from the body
Foods to consume: Whole grains such as oats, brown rice, millets; fruits like papaya, apples, kiwis, guavas as well as vegetables like tomatoes, carrots, beetroots, broccoli and bell peppers
    3. Seeds and nuts:
    Foods to consume: Almonds, walnuts, pistachios;
Seeds like flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds & sesame
    4. Phytoestrogens: Weakens estrogen’s ability to cause fibroids
    Foods to consume: Soybeans, nuts
    -----------------------------
Recipes based on the above food groups:
    Recipe 1: Vegetable soybean dish
    1. Put 1/4 cup overnight soaked soy beans in a pressure
    cooker.
    2. Add 2 cups of water
    3. Let it pressure cook for 8-10 whistles
    4. Now, take 1 tsp oil in a pan
    5. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds in it
    6. Also add 1 chopped green chilli
    7. Now add 2 tbsp chopped onions and cook them till they turn
    pink
    8. Once done, add ½ chopped tomato
    9. Then, add a pinch of red chilli, some haldi and salt
    10. Now saute all the ingredients for 5 minutes
    11. Now add the cooked soy beans
    12. Mix them well
    13. Finally, add 1 tsp lemon juice and serve hot
Recipe 2: Broccoli, carrots & bell pepper dish
    1. Take 1 tsp oil in a pan
    2. Add 1 cup of carrots and broccoli each
    3. Also add ½ red and ½ yellow bell peppers
    4. Saute them till they soften but are still a little crunchy
    5. Now, add salt, chilli flakes, oregano and pepper
    6. Mix all the ingredients well
    7. Next add 1 tsp sesame seeds and mix again
    8. Serve these vegetables hot
    -----------------------------
    Tips:
    • Avoid processed foods, fried and junk foods
    • Avoid coffee, tea, colas, sweets, red meat & alcohol

CZcams and the internet is full of misinformation. I would take these videos as a guide not a matter of fact. You have to research individual foods to see what the nutritional value is. Soy is known to increase estrogen in the body but I doubt flaxseed does.

I don’t take dairy either. I have a family history of fibroids. My mother and aunts had fibroids and underwent hysterectomy. The only thing I could have done differently was perhaps get an ultrasound every couple of years to see if I had one. The fibroid was way too big when it was found, hysterectomy is the only option for me now. If it had been smaller, they could have tried other less invasive options.

Soy products and soy are a no go with fibroids, flaxseeds and oats are also foods to avoid if you have fibroids. Do not produce a video on a topic you know little about especially when it has to do with people's health.
