    0:40 - (Skip Intro)
1/5/16 - A trio of SD60I's haul coal empties west past the Natural Gas power plant at Prescott. 507 normally consists of the rapid-discharge 5-bay hoppers, but instead has a consist of the newer H65's.
    0:40 - 507 - Carney's Point, NJ - Shire Oaks, PA
    NS SD60I 6740
    NS SD60I 6724
    NS SD60I 6719
1/11/16 - The sun dips low in the afternoon leaving a red glow in the east, as a UP-led 15T glides through DORF on the opposite main.
    2:35 - 15T - Allentown, PA - Birmingham, AL
    UP SD70M 4041
    NS ES44DC 7616
1/24/16 - A couple of days after 30 inches of snow fell, trains were breezing right through the fresh white powder, which the road ways were finally opened to get trackside! The lens didn't stay clear of the artic blast for long...
    4:20 - 10N - Conway, PA - Allentown, PA
    NS C44-9W 9703
    NS C40-8W 8413
The next train behind 10N running down the opposite main would be loaded oil train 66W with the Penn Central Heritage unit leading out of the sunset.
    5:05 - 66W - Chicago, IL - Eddystone, PA
    NS SD70ACe 1073 (Penn Central)
    NS SD70ACe 1006
1/25/16 - The next morning brought sun...and big piles of snow to stand on. High priority intermodal 212 with a mix of GE's is not letting anything slow it down.
    6:45 - 212 - Atlanta, GA - Croxton, NJ
    NS C44-9W 9355
    Canadian Pacific ES44AC 8755
    NS C40-9 8884
2/9/16 - A couple weeks later I spent the afternoon at Lebanon Station until dusk. Snow started falling right before 10N showed up with a pair of NS ACe's, seen from atop of another snow pile vantage point.
    8:00 - 10N - Conway, PA - Allentown, PA
    NS SD70ACe 1153
    NS SD70ACe 1079
Loaded auto train 18N wasn't far behind with a monotonous trio of widecab Dash-9's, so I went for the wide angle display of the station.
    10:00 - 18N - Fostoria, OH - Doremus, NJ
    NS C44-9W 9704
    NS C44-9W 9845
    NS C44-9W 9884
19G heads west just before sunset, with many oil empties making up the consist...with a snow pile once again providing a unique vantage otherwise blocked by the wall below.
    11:30
    NS C44-9W 9558
    NS C44-9W 9076
    NS GP38-2 5280
2/10/16 - A pair of CP Beaver GE's trail on hot train 20K, giving some extra horn and smoke.
    13:30 - 20K - Chicago, IL - Croxton, NJ
    NS ES44DC 7610
    Canadian Pacific AC4400CW 8529
    Canadian Pacific AC4400CW 8500
2/19/16 - Almost a month later and most of the signs of last month's blizzard are gone, but a brisk morning silence is disturbed by the CNJ Heritage Unit leading hot intermodal 21E up the grade at Robesonia.
    15:10 - 21E - Morrisville, PA - Chicago, IL
NS SD70ACe 1071 (Central Railroad of New Jersey)
    NS C40-8W 8397
    NS SD60I 6756
2/21/16 - Lest I put a third 10N into one video, it better be for a good reason-I think a throttling SD60 leader at Prescott with Leslie RS3L horn blaring is a good enough reason!
    16:30 - 10N - Conway, PA - Allentown, PA
    NS SD60 6706
    NS ES44DC 7566
2/27/16 - Another blazing winter sunset concludes this video as loaded coal 874 pounds the stretch up hill between Womelsdorf and Robesonia.
    18:10 - 874 - Portsmouth, OH - Carney's Point, NJ
    NS ES44AC 8110
    NS C44-9W 9763
    NS C44-9W 8926
    Thanks for watching!!!

Thanks for the 2016 Norfolk Southern Harrisburg video, seems a while ago now, yet like almost yesterday.
Love the train plowing thru the snow on winter days where it is most inhospitable, top railfanning video.
Thanks for getting out of bed on such wonderful mornings to get the choicest of shots.
Happy raifanning from Vernon in New Zealand !
    🙂👍👌

Awesome HARL compilation as always. I've gotta say though, I'm a little envious of all of the snow shots in here since I just got back from my 3rd fanning run out to PA over this past month and a half and still have barely any good snow shots to show for it lol. Captured some great skies in this one, specifically for the 10N and 66W on during that evening in Sheridan. IMO the clouds that were set ablaze were the stars of the show over the PC leader. And that sunset shot of the 874 at the end though...holy crap dude, a day can't end much better than that.

Yes I am! Even though I haven't gotten any of the DCR locos yet, I love the RS5T them GP11's have! I got a new camcorder so I can film them too, My Existing camera is in rough condition so I got a new one for Christmas

Oh that's right, I remember seeing some of those GP11's on SWP with that horn. I actually have a video of those on my channel somewhere. And have fun with the new camera!

Wonderful scenes in the snow. Epic sunset in the last shot!
8:32 cretin. What was he doing anyway? He ran across the tracks and then stopped and watched the train go by.

I am not really sure, in Lebanon people are always crossing in front of the trains. And of course, I always have to sneak in a sunset shot at the end of the video! lol

A real stunner Eric, your video's are topshelf!
Btw, how cold was it out there in the snow?

    • @CentralPennRailProductions
      @CentralPennRailProductions  Před 7 lety +1

Thanks I'm glad you enjoy the videos! I don't remember last winter being especially cold, but with the larger amounts of snow the next few days can be several degrees above freezing without noticeable snow melt. I do remember we had a few cold spells in April and May because I visited the Reading Line one weekend in April (videos not on CZcams) and it was snowing good!

Awesome video and I was just wanting to know what that intro music is called because I want to use this as my intro music too. If this music is yours then I won't use due to respect of copyright.
