I write blog posts 90% of the time but I just had a customer ask me to write and design a sales page. I enjoyed the project so much more than I thought I would and am super proud of the sales page. Maybe I'll move more into that space! 🤩 thanks for the video Colleen!

I've been working for a number of small indie labels (basically just helping friends out, not a legit job) and handling their releases (and social media) for years, and I am now working on organising a portfolio and understanding my skills and niche so I can start my own business. Email copy sounds easy but I worry that I'd be wasting my time because I know that I personally never open promotional emails and rarely take action through them if I do.

How long should each type of copy be? Like should an email be no more than 200 words or a branding be less than 150 these are just examples.
There's not really a set limit. It depends on what the client wants. Ask them for examples of what they like.
