Hey Dennis, Fred. In barely 2 days you've come "out of the stone age" and now your efforts are in the zone between cave-man and cutting-edge. I kept quiet yesterday but the video shot from the top of the vertical stabilizer/fin had me wondering where the movement was coming from...turns out it is induced at different speeds and power settings apparently. Once you get that dampened down it will be great but still very entertaining and informative to see how you fit under the canopy and such. Love the one-flip of the prop start, you know your bird.
Hi @frederickwoods5943 yes sir just call me Fred Flintstone!!! Lol wish I could get the shake out...but it is what it is and I'm doing something different....
@@redblackvetteHopefully you have the Pro version of the 4 as it has EIS. In the menu, you’ll want to make sure the EIS is turned on. Also some stabilization in lower cost action cameras don’t like filming in 4K. I recommend you film in 1080p 30fps. If you have just the 4 version, it only has a gyroscope mode. Not the same as EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization)
Your always going to get sympathetic harmonics , specifically ar certain RPM's . Some dampening while flying because of the loads on the wings .. Have you had the engine balanced ? With and with out the prop ? Saw a video with Mike Petty using an electronic device to correct that problem .. Can imagine the metal fatigue taking place ..
@@redblackvette The full engine fires 1-4-3-2 . So 3-2 fire and then 2 idol strokes like a Harley ? I've rebuilt 5 VW full engines and as I recall there would have been 8 cam lobes one for each valve . Is that what your saying ?
Dennis your so handsome the camera shakes in fear .....truth !!!
Hi @10OZDuster wow you are funny sir!!!

Which camera are you using Dennis? I can research that stabilization for you.
Might need to turn off auto stabilization on the camera, it might be on by default.
Hi @DTMinimax well sir the camera is a Brave 4. With stability...

Hi @The762nato well sir it is the nature of the 1/2 VW. It is ballanced but the way it fires is what causes the vibration.....
