anyone who can't get this to work, just folllow the video thoroughly rewind and check again. and if theres a mineshaft above like it was for me.. just go through a large part of it putting down torches.
Literally every fucking slime chunk I go to is littered with caves. Even going to swamps there's always caves and I'm not spawn proofing 128 blocks in all directions including up and down. That's fucking retarded.

@@infinitemovers6344 if you can find 2 or 3 slime chunks all right next to each other you can increase the rates. Literally just build 3 separate kill chambers and I would use iron golems instead of snow golems also make the platform a little bigger for the golem to stand on. You can do everything else the same the iron golem can be put on a lead too.
@@infinitemovers6344that’s not that bad for the size of the farm, it’s the other comments I’m worried about saying they got a stack only after like 5 hours
A more immersive way to find slime chunks is just to go caving in the new big caves, lighting them up thoroughly until you notice some slimes spawning. Then just make a trap like the one shown here, or several of them.
Works great if you only want a reasonable amount of slime, but if you need multiple stacks of blocks for projects that can be difficult

I haven’t done the golem part I just went and hid for 5 mins came back and killed them all with my diamond sword no enchants and got about 2 stacks right now I’m trying to go find a snowy biome to make it a bit easier
I am pretty sure that if you build the farm under an ocean the rates are much better because under an ocean all the caves are full of water witch means there are no air blocks for mobs to spawn in (I haven't tested it yet but in theory it should work)
Drowned has entered the chat( but yeah it should still be faster even with the drowned)
You could add water around the edges while standing on a raised ring of blocks that's 1 block away from all the walls, with a path that goes to your AFK room. You could then go backwards when breaking the blocks for your raised ring, starting with the first block that's not going to the AFK room. Go all the way around, breaking the ring blocks (they'll go down to the hopper and the chest), then go into your AFK room, breaking the final blocks. Leave some glass to block the water from spilling towards the AFK room. This will push all the slimes into the hole, so they don't waste time hopping around before being attracted to the Snow Gollum.
about to try this, i’ve been having major issues with getting any to spawn in swamps. i’ll update if it works :)

when setting up the magma blocks, if you didn't know already crouching will make you stop taking damage on magma :)
Recently tried this on PS5 1.20 bedrock and it still works. You have to make sure there are no caves or mine shafts nearby to draw the spawns and I’ve personally found that the AFK spot needs to be pretty far away for it to work better. I just go back up to the surface level and sit nearby and I get decent rates for my purposes.

Yes but you would have to Center your AFK spot and make 2 killing areas since the snow golem wouldn’t attract them from further away

My snow golems seem to be determined to self terminate. Fixed it with some fences.
Edit - thought I fixed it but now the slims ignore the golem. I need to do more work on it
Edit 2 - I've found a reasonably priced councilor to talk to the snow golem and now it's decided to live. Farm works brilliantly. Thanks blaze

He seems to be surviving so far now. Maybe my world just leads to mobs to want to end themselves lol

I also got lots of snow and created a pumpkin farm too just in case

So am I good to place the iron golem in the same location as the snowman or do I need to relocate this position? Also, what is the reason behind being 25 blocks away?
25 blocks is so you aren’t to close when they are spawning in (spawn mechanics). But the same spot SHOULD hopefully work
Just a heads up, the seed is irrelevant on Bedrock. Bedrock slime chunks are in the same place across all seeds.

Do slimes spawn that low under a mooshroom biome? I’m on top of a double chunk with nothing close by for miles

You need to be 25 blocks away
Instead of using a snowman (since it doesn’t survive in most biomes), you can use an iron golem and connect it to the lead just like with the snowman, but also removing the platform.

snow golems die in warm biomes (except oceans) or if it rains on them

Sadly they changed it so looting doesn't work like that anymore.
Check out my recent community post for more info, but holding a looting sword does actually help rates of trident killers. Sorry for the confusion.

As long as he has a lead attached to the fence, he shouldn’t be able too

You need to make 4 holes in the ground, but yes that would work.
The snowman died every time I tryed to spawn him on the slab

You could replace the magma blocks with campfires and have either hoppers or a hopper minecart below 🤷♂️

Generally for me i have to be 25 blocks away on the same level, but you can try it out. Just turn your simulation distance to the max

They should be able to spawn. Is the area around spawn proofed (so it doesn't reach mob cap)? Are you on hard? make sure you are appx. 25 blocks away
I did the farm right, I made it perfect, but the slimes still just won’t spawn, first i thought it was becuase the area was uneven but I checked and the coordinates are right, then I thought it was mobs nearby becuase of unlit areas, then I went to spend like a hour searching all nearby caves and lighting up every area and it still didn’t work. Then I got rid of the tunnels I made that connected everything from the entrance to the afk chamber to the chest (something I added just for better navigation) and it STILL didn’t work. I even found a flat area right below my farm and placed blocks everywhere there so slimes would spawn at my farm but it STILL didn’t work. I even sat exactly at 25 blocks away from the wall multiple times and watched like three 10 minute long videos and nothing happened each time. I don’t know what I did wrong so please help.

I found a chunk on slime finder and built a slime farm but no slime spawn no matter what slime chunk I build in please help
Make sure it’s on the right version of Minecraft IE bedrock or Java and double check your seed and the update it is on
Most likely there’s caves underneath or above where mobs are spawning
i found that more spawn when the cieling is 6 high but keep the middle part the same but i still have the same problem too i get like 5 slime balls an hr
make sure that its not on peaceful
i was able to fix the snow golem issue but the farm doesn't work entirely

Is the room 3 blocks tall. The big slime is 2.5 blocks tall so if it’s not the lowers the spawn rate. If your in peaceful or mob spawning is turned off they also can’t spawn. If there are any caves over or under the chuck block them off (or make the ground unspawnable with slabs or something) this could also hinder your farm

I have a realm also don't worry it's easy to get the seed. Go to manage realms and edit your world and dounload it go on to the copy and you can see the seed.
In bedrock you actually don’t need the seed, as all seeds have the same slime chunks :)
