I have an iPad 9 and I want to buy Apple Pencil 1. I agreed with a seller, what should I pay attention to when buying tomorrow, he said that the warranty of the product is over and that it has been used very little, from the photos the product looks clean
I just bought brand new Apple Pencil for my 1st gen Ipad Pro.. and it's not working. It connects to bluetooth, pair it but sometimes disconects itself and when I try to use it on the screen it can't do anything. Battery widget shows 100% battery. Pencil firmware version is old, so I guess maybe this caused my issues, but can't find a way to manually update the firmware, I keep it connected to the lightning port of my iPad, but still no update, and I''m not sure if pencil disconnects itself from bluetooth what will happen and did even update anytime soon.
Do you have any recommendations for a note taking app?

It's fine. i have one and it runs okay and is still fast just dont expect to do heavy gaming on it or heavy editing
I just bought my first (brand new) iPad (10th generation) and I decided on this Apple Pencil as well. It’s my first time ever using a digital pencil like this. It’s taking some getting used to it but so far I love it. Highly Recommend!
I did too. If you find the charging process a bit ridiculous(I did). I got an "L" shaped adapter from ebay it has the usbc point on one end and the lightning port on the other. The pen sits flush on the side of the ipad. So much easier.

Trying an iPad/pencil set up from Samsung galaxy tab with an s pen. I have a 9th gen iPad…apparently the 9th gen that won’t accept a 2nd gen pencil 🤷🏻♂️. Going to return it and get a first gen. Don’t understand why it needs to be powered either….fir what?
My guess is the apple pen uses static input on the screen of iPad for more accurate lines.
My pencil doesn’t go in on the side of the iPad. 10th gen
because the pencil has the lightning charger. the ipad is a usbc port, they are incompatible

I dont suggest getting paper screen protecter It *RUINS* your apple pencil dont buy it
Well just the tip which is easily replaceable but it also depends on how rough you are with it. Personally for me I had the issue to where the tip was getting sanded down and stuff but my brother who has the same exact set up as me his pencil tip was perfectly fine and he used his more than mine 😭
