Thanks for explaining and showing this! Is there a way to speed up the proces? Because I have like 2300+ scraped links from items in a table which I use in the function. I takes about half an hour to get 1 item updated, I haven't test this yet if this can be done simultaneous when refreshing, but if not then I have to wait 10 times half an hour to update the list. That is way too long. With or without the possibility of simultaneous refreshing I was hoping to speed up the proces, is there any? Edit: Actually the proces freezes at 1009 rows...

while for this page, data query works just fine. what we need is an easy html table path on the financial statements. that would be like WOW!

I notice that the url in a sense searched for for the data you wanted because the GOOGL and AMZON were apart of the URL and the set up for each were coded the same so the function found the data need all that was different was the entry or value. So in my case my URL won’t change. Multiple data entries or values and multiple pages in the same URL.

How would one pull information from a page when you need to click a button before it shows up?
For example: there's a website I go to for sports stats. They have nicely formatted tables, but if I click a button that same table (with extra information I want to use) is available in .csv format. I'd love to scrape that .csv data, but I can't find it in the data I get from using the web source in Excel Power Query... is there a way to get Power Query to go to a url, then have it "click" a button (or three) for me and THEN let me browse the contents? For the life of me, I can't phrase a search criteria to find this information on my own.

Is there link to that csv? If so, copy the link to that CSV file and use the link to import the data to Power Query.

@@ExcelGoogleSheets Not that I can see. I only see it in the inspection report after I've clicked on the button, but the button seems to run a script on the page (I don't leave the url).

I doubt you can do it with Power Query in that case. You'll need to use something more advanced, like this czcams.com/play/PLRmEk9smitaXljDN2CjwZ96o4Aj87iuC5.html
