@@priscawiersma Cockapoo! Exactly! If you want a small breed, you should get a mix of a poodle. The best ones, Cockapoo, Springerdoodle, Cavapoo! They are all so cute! And, Maltipoo! I love maltipoos :) but, the dog I really really want is a Cavachon. It is a mix between a cavalier kings Charles spaniel and a bichon frise. They are a small breed, even my mom, who did not want to get a dog, i showed her a cavachon and she said this is great! My dad said its too, i think I've got my parents! I definitely recommend cavachon. I really want it too!
I've been watching you for a while and just wanted to say thank you!! As soon as I was able to afford it, I switched my doodle puppy to raw food, which is pre-made locally specifically for his weight. He LOVES it and it's worth every penny. I didn't know I could get raw dog food of such high quality pre-made until I watched your videos. Your advice has been super helpful as a first-time dog owner!

Haha sooooo accurate! Plus, when mixing breeds they really have NO IDEA how much of each (in my opinion) will dominate. My first Goldendoodle was more golden retriever while now my second is more poodle so... poodles also from what I understand have hair not fur which is why they cause less allergies.
And yes, VERY SMART!! And sneaky lol

Had so many fantastic dogs, but "Charlie" is something else, he just loves life.
Proud owner of a very active 1 year and 6 month old miniature goldendoodle, which is still almost the size of a large dog. And yes, their hair attracts sooooo many things. Grooming is a must and has to be done often. My goldendoodle is the same color and he gets dirty very often. We have to bathe him once a week, can't go a full two weeks without a bath where we live (muddy forest setting), and brush/comb him daily to lessen tangles. They !!HATE!! seeing you leave! They HATE being alone. I have a family of 6 and at least one person is at home all the time. But if by chance we're all leaving it's horrible for our doodle. He's okay for maybe a few hours with his toys. But if it's longer than that we have to find a sitter. They are great family dogs, ours loves our cat, and are extremely playful and loving. It's like having a large living teddy bear😊. And yes, doodles are people magnets, lol. We can never go any where without people stopping us every 10 minutes to see our dog. And it doesn't help that doodles seem to love and greet all inhabitants of world 😅.

We searched for a long time to adopt but to no avail. Realized it's not easy. We were told that since the pandemic started, adoption has been on the rise. It looks like we will end up getting one from a local breeder in November (maybe... maybe as that list is full) but next summer for sure. The part you mentioned of them being not hypoallergenic is concerning because I am allergic. Love your channel, I can see myself visiting often for Golden Doodle stuff.

Thank you for all of your videos! Our goldendoodle recently passed after 15 1/2 years and she just ate normal dog food! She did die of cancer but they didn't find the tumor until a couple days before she passed. She was very healthy until the last week. Vet said she was not in pain, so she passed at home, in my arms, she looked up to heaven then smiled at me and went to the bridge. I just can't live life without a doodle, so we are getting a puppy next month and I am brushing up on my puppy training! Anyway, I did a lot of research on goldendoodles and found that while American Golden retrievers have a 60+% cancer rate, English Golden retrievers only have a 30+% cancer rate,(Europe has tighter breeding restrictions) so this time we are getting a English goldendoodle. Also, When you mix a retriever with a poodle, or pretty much any purebred with another purebred they will have hybrid vigor, which means they basically they get the best from both gene pools, hence the longer lifespan than a purebred of either. My goldendoodle sheds a good amount I think it’s because he has a lot of retriever in him and the other reason is he still has his baby fur
Lamar Bowman many shed! It’s common. And those that don’t shed, still lose hair (like humans)!

The breeder has been listed as the BEST breeder in USA.
My SON died last year at 33 due to kidney failure disease.
These dogs are DNA tested. The sire and dam are OFA certified for every possible defeat possible for Golden DOODLES.
She will be trained as a service dog due to my PTSD. Please wish me well on my journey forward.

it makes me happy to hear you say that your doodle was not cuddly in the beginning but he is now. my doodle puppy is not very cuddly at the moment. He is food focus and he seems mostly happy only when food is involved. I hope he will grow into a more affectionate dog. No expectations of course just hoping :P :)

I’m hoping to get my medium Goldendoodle in June. Puppies are due next week and they think the mom will have 6 puppies. I’m number 6 on the list, so fingers crossed it is at least 6 healthy puppies.

I have a labradoodle and he’s so smart he can open my door he is pretty Velcro but he can stay home by himself which is great he loves to snuggle sleep on my pillows make us play all day and brush him a lot I love him and all doodles
I’ve never purchased so many toys, premium food & expensive treats for a dog until I got my Goldendoodle. You’re right, they are so much more intelligent than people give them credit sometimes! Lol
My golden doodle Sadie who is the light of my life, is the biggest thief I have ever met in my entire life. She will come into my room and just frantically look around for something to take and run off with. It is quite hilarious my boyfriend and I have a lot of fun with it chasing her around.

I’m so glad you mentioned the fact that not all are hypoallergenic! That really is the biggest myth that people fall for, imo.
A lot of people also aren’t aware that hypoallergenic basically means “less allergenic”, not describing lack of allergens. That would be “non-allergenic”.

I have researched every single thing there is to research and I’m slowly persuading my mom to let me get a Goldendoodle she makes sure everything I’m doing is correct and asks me questions (she’s a vet) I really hope I get one because I think I’m really prepared and I know a lot about all different types of animals (more than most people my age and even some adults)

I bought a goldendoodle who was nearly five months old at the time. The breeder sold him for a huge discount because he was no longer little-puppy cute. On the one hand, my other, little do stopped biting me when he had a canine companion and the goldendoodle does not have a mean bone in his body. He likes to play, too.
Downsides: He chews and chews and chews. Because he is big, he can find a lot of things to chew. He especially likes my books, my glasses, and the remote control. He constantly tries to pull at my clothes and his torn a bunch of them. I keep my shoes on top of the bookcase now to save the few I have left. There are some days I swear I am in canine hell.
I’m so excited for the video I’m getting a pit bull terrier and we think she is mixed with lab we meet her on Saturday 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐩🐩🐩🐕🐕🐕🐕. I also need some help should we name her Coco, Belle, or Bailey ( she is a girl) tell me in the reply

omg the photo struggle is real! every time he’s naughty i just want to take a picture because even the trouble he gets into is cute! and YES velcro dog. i work from home and he is next to me 24/7 (he may have been left alone 35 hours spread out over the past year because i’m the crazy person that takes him nearly everywhere) but i can’t even pee alone. give him 5-10 minutes and he can open a regular round door knob or figure out how to unlock the type of doorknob you have. and this is not a play by himself dog. needs TONS of mental stimulation and play, play, play. you’re a pro and already know this but snuffle mats are amazing when you need to be on a call or something. LOVE MY DOODLE

I’ve been watching your videos for so long and today I sent in my first ever fostering application. Super excited. I have a question. My aunt has two dogs and has always taught them the same thing with crate training except with a bed. And when she leaves then alone they go in a pop up crate like vibe. I don’t really know how to describe it. However the dogs always know to go In their beds and during the night they are aloud to go onto the bed which I prefer over a crate. However what’s your opinion on what’s a better option for overnight?

I have one concern, and I am not trying, to be rude, but I feel sorry for your lab he seems to want attention also. Dogs are carnivores, they eat raw meat in the wild and that's what's still best for them. I don't know how you can have a healthy dog and give them NO meat... 🙆🤷
Only if it is 75 percent golden retriever it is not hypoallergenic if it is 75 percent poodle then it is hypoallergenic
I had a veterinarian say something to the effect that I should augment my dog's raw food with kibble. What do you think?
