Price haggling should not be a standard. It’s fraudulent. Prices should be displayed across board even at barbershops

Before all this, u should control the price of fuel first, because they are paying too much for the transport to bring the food to the market,, there for food price of must go up,

There should be price control as the dollar rate dropped and crude oil dropped. The government should reduce on tariff on imported goods not produced in Nigeria so the poor can breathe again

All traders MUST be made to display Retail Prices of what they sell. This will be a Big move to drastically reduce price gorging.

THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD OPEN THEIR OWN STORES TO CORRECT THE PRICES BECAUSE NIGERIA MARKET IS OPENING MARKETS IT WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT TO CHANGE CONSUMER PRICES IN THE MARKET I WISH NIGERIAN GOVERNMENTS GOOD LUCK

This will not work in my opinion ,we have not the technology and data based to manage this approach cos same people will still mop up govt supply and resell at high rate, govt need to go after them, and those that imported at high rate should be treated specially after due diligence of investigation n inspection. This in my opinion will solve our problem

Govt should focus on supply side, encourage activities that would increase output of goods and services. That's a sure way to decrease prices.

Go after who? , you think it takes one month for the woman who bought yam high price to finish selling it. Then you have to trade yam business to know that, l truck of yam bought today can finish selling for 2-3month. Hmmm, na only office grammar and by force by force, power drug government. The example is just one of all different business. When someone wake up announce increase in fuel, the effects on good is not desame as wake up to bring price, or if a man just destroy now is the repair same. Make government dey play.

It's strange how this will work in a free market. There are factors that determine Prices.
Hope this is not another excuse to extort traders. We will need to see the template for the Right pricing.

FCCPC should come and rescue the people of OBUDU local government from traders gouging the price of food, and products in the market. These traders are killing people here. You will buy something in the morning for 200 naira, when you return in the evening the price would have gone up to 500 naira different from the price you bought that same product in the morning. And they're doing this thing intentionally, causing more hardship in the region..people could not feed anymore..It's so pathetic.
