I think she meant one of the Italian variations of the pizza since in Italy we don't have only one kind of pizza. One of the main types of pizza is the Neapolitan style which is the original pizza. The Neapolitan style pizza is shown in the introduction but it's not mentioned in the list of the pizzas around the world.

I’m no culinary expert, and I’m not Italian either, but I can say with complete certainty that putting stuff on top of a flattened piece of bread does not automatically make it pizza.

Khachapuri is not a pizza, but a pie. There are three variations of khachapuri:
1) Megreli style khachapuri is a closed pie with cheese and herbs filling;
2) Imereti style khachapuri is a puff pastry pie, where ground cheese is mixed into the dough;
3) Adjari style khachapuri - the one shown in the video, a boat-shaped open pie with cheese and egg broken on top of it just out of the oven.

You could've also shown Turkish pide. We have one with minced meat, one with cheese and a sweet one with sesame. It's looks similar to Georgia's khachapuri. We even have one in a region near Georgia (Bayburt) with minced meat and an egg sunny side up.

Sfincione are from the southern part of Italy, more specifically, Sicily. That's where they mainly eat it.

I've had Pizza in different countries around the world and I must say, Italy has the best Pizza hands down. No other pizza compares, not even New York or Chicago Pizza.
But the weirdest pizza I've ever had was in Laos. It came from a street vendor, it was cooked in a crock pot and was covered in ketchup, corn, peas, carrots and an imitation cheese substitute.
I also once had a pizza in France covered in Tuna.
