I blind tested myself before looking at the screen. Honestly, the difference is so negligible I could barely tell.
Both amp sounds cool. One of the few vid s where marshalls works fine to me

I have an MA100 head and cab and was going to sell it. After watching this video I don’t think I will anymore! What Cab is this being recorded through???
I've had both. The HR is miles better!! I was never happy with the H model. I play classic rock and Ozzy type metal.
did you write that first riff? coz if so that riff alone sold me on the dsl100

Probably a biased opinion but I prefer the 100HR...I own one so go figure...lol
They sound Exactly the same...I don’t hear any difference... The MA a light rock amp?
There's much more saturation in the DSL and MUCH more pronounced Mid Range as well. The MA is certainly a Lighter rock amp. It is one of my favourite amps for Light Drive/Slight Overdrive. Cheers -Ryan

The MA series are the worst Marshall amps ever!
The DSL sounds WAY better. That's why MA amps are cheap
Look INSIDE the amp...the capacitors, resistors...then you´ll see that marshall puts 5$ capacitors on plexi reissue, jcm 800 2203X and so on
