ALERT! Nicolette mushrooms are poisonous for dogs please make sure she doesn’t go near them if she eats them it won’t be good I’m sure you’ll read up on it though you seem like a good fur mommy and Nina seems very careful as well. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

That's exactly how my mom act when I first got my dog. She wanted nothing to do with her and then after a year of living with her, she got attached.

I just raised a puppy so I had to do a ton of research... google really helped. Make sure that when she goes to the bathroom outside you give her a treat and praise her so she knows its a good thing. When she is inside look for signs of her sniffing around on the ground as if she is looking for a place to go to the bathroom. Crate training was really helpful, at night leave the puppy in the crate and they will start to whine when they have to go to the bathroom. This is because dogs don't like to go to the bathroom in the same place that they sleep. Eventually she will understand the correlation between being outside and going to the bathroom. I also used a clicker to train my dog, you might want to look into it. Good luck! It took a few months for me to get it down pat with my dog.

I mean like perfectly... mine got the gist of it after like a few weeks but still had the occasional accident. It's a little easier for Nicolette since she has a pomsky... I have a German Shepherd so his messes are a lot bigger to clean up lol

This video made me so happy! I’m so glad y’all are being so patient with the puppy. It’s a pain in the butt at first with all the puppy accidents, but I promise it gets better! Seeing Nina so happy and calling Bentley her grand baby filled my heart with joy! She deff needed this! Crazy how dogs make life so much better ❤️
*Get puppy training pads. Always say the same thing when you take them out to potty. Say something like “You wanna go potty?” in a cheerful noticeable tone. Always take him out at the same time every day. Hide your shoes or anything valuable away from the pup. Make sure he has plenty of toys to chew on. If he does something you don’t like, don’t hit or yell. Just say no in a stern voice. My dogs learned that way. My one dog is still psycho but he knows what not to chew and doesn’t poop or pee in the house. Get a crate for now. Make sure it’s big enough if he will grow but not too much room where he walks around. Also look up everything they can’t eat including outside the house like your plants. Try not to feed him people food. Read up on everything about pups. The way I learned. Ps. I’m not an expert. Just tryin to help. Xx*
pincheyoya definitely great advice!! We would also try to take our new puppy out after every nap she took, or every time we played with her because we saw that those were the times she would often have accidents in the house

DO NOT USE PUPPY PADS. It reinforces peeing inside. I work at a pethotel for a while and that is like a huge no-no.
Instead, when you catch your dog peeing or pooping, you want to pick it up and put it outside. We've done this with multiple dogs and they learn within a week.
rebeccabandersen it helped me with my dog at night. Since 2 month old pups have to pee every 3 hours or so. When I was asleep for 7-8, it stopped him from peeing all over my room. So he always knew to potty on them during the night since his bladder wasn’t as strong as an adult dog. So he knew that and going outside. As the months went by and he built up his bladder strength then he was able to hold it during the night and only go outside. Definitely helped me but each their own.
Absolutely to each their own but it is not something that dog experts would actually recommended. Puppies can actually hold their bladders for extended times, you'd be surprised. If they know to go outside, they will do their best to hold it until you wake up.
The last 3 puppies we've had, we've just woken up once at night to take them outside. If we caught them while having an accident, we'd pick them up and run outside with them. The longest it took one of our puppies to be fully house trained was a week.
Even though puppy pads can be helpful at night, it really does take much, much longer to house train a dog that way.

It’s gonna get worse! Especially with a Pomsky! She’s gonna tear your couch up. They need to get a lot of excercise! They look pretty but start disciplining her now. Speaking from experience!!!

It takes a while to potty train a dog, I just got a German Shepherd myself and it’s very hard but he’s getting he hang of it slowly.

First night is always rough. My puppy was a nightmare when we first got him and now he’s an angel and I couldn’t live without him.
A tip I would give is to keep the puppy in the crate at night and let it out in the morning and take it right outside to use the bathroom that way it doesn’t pee all over the house. Another tip is to potty train it put a bells on the door it can ring and every time it rings the bell take it outside even if it just went out so it learns what ringing the bell means and it will learn what it has to do to get outside and that way it can almost like tell u

I've already seen a few people comment to get training pee pads and put them inside but that is something you should NEVER do, it teaches them that it is okay to pee and poo inside and they will do that forever. My auntie did that and now her dogs go inside all the time.

A pomsky IS a husky. It will have the traits of one. It is a mix between a Pomeranian and a Husky. Pomsky is just a fancy name for a mutt. It’s not it’s own breed.

Love your vids and the addition of a pup will only make the family happier! Disciplining your dog might be real hard especially when they're small and cute but it'll pay off when they grow older and learn to respect the boundaries! Eg. not tearing up your clothes or peeing anywhere they wld like! It also helps them to better understand the hierarchy in the house and they can settle in easier. If a pup thinks he's the boss of the household, you're in for some terrible times!!

Nicolette it’s safer to keep your dog in the backseat whenever you’re driving with her! Just in case an accident happens, she’s safer back there than being exposed to the front window💞
Pro tip-
If you want ur dog to go outside make sure u leave some poop outside so she can smell it and know that she is suppose to go outside! And if she goes inside, it’s fine but make sure to cover up the smell completely. It’s important to start it off young so she doesn’t grow up and become harder
