I got this game on PS plus this month I don't even know what over half the equipment does or how to use it but it's fun
I just downloaded the game,I have no idea what I'm doing lol,that's why I'm watching this
It's got a nice tutorial that gives you an idea on what to buy and how to make money. The tutorial doesn't really cover buying land and selling products though

I have no knowledge of farming and I've never worked on a farm before but this game is actually very fun and relaxing and somewhat easy once you get the basics down

By far the best farming simulator tutorial i have seen on CZcams. Especially since we decided to get drunk while playing. Makes things a lot easier
Just downloaded from game pass. Can’t wait to start playing. I’m doing snow runner with a buddy of mine and this looks similar to a point. Love these simple calming games that I don’t have to worry about getting shot at and staying alive.

Been wondering how to get it, has the editions, but I can’t “Get” it, it just sits there. How did you download it?
You click see editions and the first one will be free
When placing placeables you also have to pay for the landscaping/terraforming of the ground to make it level. Which can sometimes cost more than the object you're placing. It's a good idea to go into landscaping and level the ground yourself first, maybe even go as far as putting down your own cement/concrete pad. Look at it as it is in real life. Don't you have to level the ground before you start to build a house? Same thing applies here.

FINNALY someone making a guide for NEW PLAYER not starting right away from "farm manager" I got this game recently and I REALLY want to get into it properly I really need proper guide tour for it I do all tutorials and all but on starting game i get confused what buying and stuff and every "lets play" or guides just go instant playing without explaining really "noob basics" for us who never played farming simulator games.
The game is really easy to master with a few minutes of getting used to using the equipment
Hey Brad the reason why the did that with USA map the Farming Simulator 2015 map was kinda run down anyways plus I think they reused some of the building from the previous farming simulator. So I think if the USA map they wanted it to be more standard and feel a connection with 2015 when they only had one eropean map, that was also rundown looking also if you look at one of the signs on the freeway it says Newcrest in some certain miles, I don't know where its at but I do know on newcrest there was a sign somewhere before the tunnel that said Ravenport in 2017. So maybe the reason why Raven port is so run down is it is a suburb of Newcrest. Also in one of the corners of 2017 it said farming simulator 2019 on the arcade machine.

I'm gonna agree with you that they need nicer houses but I do like how the have a touch of the real world and just have that old timer farming life
I love, especially since I can't go to volunteer in real life at the moment but it's a fun game
If you bring up the help menu by pressing the f1 key before you buy the placeables it shows how much it will cost before you place it, including the ground deformation.

oh my Brad ... just for once, try opening the F1 help menu and it will give you all the info that you are accusing Farm sim of not supplying, including the hire worker availability.

Hey Brad, I have some ideas for Animal pen placements. I spent a lot of time on a test map I made to place pens and I think I found some decent locations. First, the Sheep and Cows I was able to place together to the right of Field 3 in the large grass area. Not only those, but I had extra room to place a Silage silo, Hay loft, water tower and two sheds (Shed 1 and Shed 3). The pigs I placed to the left of Field 6. It worked but gets pretty lumpy if oyu dont line it up right. Also, putting a Hay loft, silo and water tower there makes it worse, so be careful. Chickens I placed right where you were trying to place the Horse pen in this video.

I dont know if you notice that the fiat has more power then both the case tractor yes it is slower but if you use to plow, cultivate, or sow you dont need speed

You can turn on automatic start in the settings menu
Not 100% sure but I think you can see how much it will cost you in the F1 menu , and in one of your stream you tried to put something down and people were telling you that you can't activate the F1 menu while in build/place you have to exit it and bring it up then return to place/build to see stuff

As an actual farmer, this game isn’t terrible but some parts are definitely unrealistic. For example, a grain bin is never called a silo. Silos are for feed and they’re made of concrete. Bins are made of steel and hold grain.

hi there, the reason why you cant build is on that mode the buildings you start with change the terrain, so it makes it all like you cant place there. On the second and third mode where there is no buildings, You can place a pen there, I had the same frustration like you did. So try it in farm manager mode to test for yourself. I have also found that you now get less yield from soy and more for canola now.
I don't think so. I know that other people who have started on New Farmer mode have been able to place the horse paddock in that area using the same game mode, so right now it's a complete mystery.

If you want to put a pin down you have to flatten the terrain with the terrain tools so you can have flat ground in the pin that’s how i did it. But that was the sheep pin so it might not work for horse pins. So if we it doesn’t work that’s why

If you have hay technology you can turn it into hay bales then sell them, or you can just cultivate it.
You can buy a hay baling machine and make bales to use with your animals, or sell for a bit of money.
