Awesome 👏🏼 Just as you explained in your video a pretty simple job. Knowing what to do prior to opening the engine bay made it a 10 min job. Thank you good Sir!
Jay...Great led headlight replacement video, it was simple and straight to the point, and the Leds made a huge difference & are much brighter than the factory bulbs, I just purchase a 2014 Murano SL... I think I'll change both headlight & foglights over to the LEDs as well.👍👍
Excellent video, straight to the point & very informative. Could you post a video showing how to convert the fog lights to LED. I have a 2017.5 Murano platinum and the fog light don’t match the headlights. If you could post one that would be awesome! Thank You
This is procedure the same for a 2020 Murano SL. It seems my left one isn't working. Do you recommend the same bulb. When I opened the hood couldn't located the access. Ty
Long Term review question: Have you had any issues with the LED Low Beam Headlights since installing them two years ago? I have a 2015 SL and it did not come with LEDs, for that year at least only the Platinum Edition had the LEDs.
How about the high beams are you going to convert them also , I also have a 2018 murano that I just got , I want to convert all the non LEDs around the hole vehicle, what lights on the vehicle are not LEDs ?
2016 platinum only has LED hi/low beam everything else is halogen, just upgraded my wife’s all the way around with LEDs makes a huge difference. The back up lights were a nightmare though 😑
no... you cannot change the color of them either because it has a reflector in front that is orange. Only way is to change the headlight to aftermarket.
@jaythemechanic4950 you reckon the carid ones you bought are still available? If so, would you be so kind to share a link please for both the low beams and fogs?😊
Not sure about that brand name. These LED bulbs are approximately 4-5 times brighter than the halogen. I will put out a short video soon while driving at night so you could see difference.
Jay The Mechanic people been telling me on the Murano because of the projection housing my best bet will be HID lights like the Nissan Murano platinum comes out of the factory
@@john1240able HiD is good but, if you don't buy a high quality HID kit you will have lots of problems. Mostly the balasts burn out, the light bulbs flicker and also you will have to modify and run wires. Thats why LED is the best option. Its plug and play.
@@johndeluca1119 Yes. This is the reason that I bought the base model Murano. Long term - don't you see error code or don't your headlights flicker. Does this kit cone with in-built Relay or resistor. Halogen bulbs are supplied with higher power.
@@mrlouie2015 platinum should have Hid bulbs. Might be a little different. The reason I said that is becuase last week someone was talking about their Murano and when I went to look at the car it was actually a Rogue. LOL.
You really should have a disclaimer somewhere in that video that you are showing people how to violate federal law by installing headlights that were not approved and or manufactured for those housings in particular and as a result may end up getting them fined and possibly making them revert the lights back etc. what you are showing people to do is illegal in every state
I understand and appreciate your concern/comment. The disclaimer is on the packaging of the product that you may end up buying. I’m not the manufacturer nor the seller of the product. If it was illegal as you say in all 50 states; then why are all car manufacturers allowed to sell the vehicle with similar or even brighter headlights from the factory? Most vehicles are now equipped with factory LED lights both for the front and rear of the vehicle.
You are correct about new cars having LEDs all over them in fact the point of my comment is that changing an incandescent bulb with any outward firing LED in any direction off the car is illegal in all 50 states. That means tail lights headlights back up lights brake lights unless you replace the entire housing with one designed for LEDs as the manufacturers have included on cars that have them
Good vid but on some Murano Platinum models 2018 and up, you have to replace the entire headlight assembly to change one bulb. Worst idea in the History of the Automotive Universe. Dumping our Nissan for good!

Hey friend. Would you make a video adding fog lights for 2015 Nissan Murano
I also bought 2018 Murano SL and when I turned the lights ON, I hated Nissan for installing halogen yellow lights!!! Why they cheaped out on lights?
i have a nissan murano and i want to install the fog lights could you help me with that please
why only low beam? i have an SV and it has halogen headlamps for both low beam and high beam
Where can I get a cheap steal deal on the on led light both.

Very informative as always Jay! Can you show another video of installing LED lights on a pickup truck like an F-150 or Ram 1500 later on?
Hey thanks for your question. What type of vehicle was that? Most likely its because the DRL and the low beam where on the same bulb.
If I get the opportunity, I will definitely make a video.

Aftermarket LED bulbs tend to be way too bright compared to vehicles that come engineered with them. You can be pulled over for distracting lights.
