Zach encountering a beautiful shepherd girl in the countryside sounds like a romance plotline kicking off on paper. The fact that the shepherd girl in question is a giantess might make things a bit more difficult...
Dont forget the giantess was muscular and had a large amount of pelts laying around. Truly a match made in heaven.

I actually like the idea that Sophia was just stalking the PC group the whole time, and that's why her barks about completed quests still make sense. She was there, just hiding behind Zac and Mike as the cleared dungeons and argued with the other npcs lol
You know the weirdest thing about the Sofia mod is how she pretty much immediately insinuates she's only in that horse stall to begin with because she's blatantly stalking your character. I'm just saying.
The whole mod seems weird. All of her dialogue does the exact opposite of what they were probably going for. She just sounds pathetic and shameless.

I love Zach referencing UP. Absolutely my childhood favourite. Ironically enough there is a famous mod that adds an Airship and will make people cry with its Bloodborne like story (Vicn's mod)
Not sure if he was specifically referencing Up. The snipe-hunt has been a prank old people have pulled on the younger generations ever since the original snipe was driven to extinction. The snipe is where we get the term sniper, as it took an expert gunman to shoot the tiny and fast-moving yellow birds. They were round like golf balls and apparently had a distinctive and unpleasant squawk.
Also, the golden snitch from Harry Potter was apparently based on the snipe.
I think Mike doesn't judge enough things. Gotta have a line in the sand somewhere.

Sofia is a wonderful train wreck.
One of my favorite games is Dragons Dogma and even I thought Sophia talked too much. She is more annoying than 3 pawns who frequently say the same crap over and over. Recorder is worse though.

"Vision based on movement" is just, like...every predator ever? If you stay still you're less likely to be spotted, if you move around you're very obviously a living thing that could either be prey or a threat.
Actually it has to do with the T-Rex in Jurassic Park being made from Frog DNA. Frogs and Toads have movement based vision and the T-Rex inherited that trait when the scientists filled its DNA gaps with Frog DNA. It's a point in the book that's kind of lost in the movies that the Dinosaurs in Jurassic Park are genetic monsters sculpted into the shape of Dinosaurs.

IIRC that was part of a plot for King of the Hill. Hank and crew took the kids out camping for scouts and sent the kids out on a snipe hunt only for Bobby to actually find one

Fun fact: Crichton himself made fun of the 'visual acuity based on movement' thing he used for the Rex in the first novel, having another character call Grant an idiot for jumping to that conclusion and pointing out that 1.) That Rex had just fed and 2.) It was probably confused/intimidated by prey that didn't flee. Later, a Rex kills a misinformed dude who tries freezing up.
5:57 there is a real bird subspiecies called a snipe, and one that most people have seen is the long billed little brown ocean bird that chases the waves when they go out to find sand crabs! they are also allegedly hard to hunt because of their flight pattern, and are thought to be part of the reason that sharp shooters are called "snipers" in the modern day due to the high skill of the hunters.

I wonder if this is how the Companions' storyline is supposed to go. I think there's either a mod or a glitch going on with my Skyrim because I've only ever gotten the 'beat up a guy' quest and then directly get sent with Vilkas to a ruin where Important Stuff happens, not these other 'whelp work' quests.
Sofia does have some funny lines, but the constant innuendos grow old pretty quick.
I'm not a big fan of Aela's default hairstyle, but on the other hand, nearly every replacer for her makes her look like a model with perfect makeup. I want a mercenary huntress with some scars and a little dirt on her.
Also, I didn't know racoon actually eats food that is put down for them. Neat detail. :)
I forget the name, but it's a mod. It's supposed to make the quest line more drawn out. Instead of the typical "three quests" and your suddenly asked to join The Circle.

With mcm you can change sofia's chatter timer, or if want you to, you can mute her outside of dialogue interactions. By default its set to one hour (in game time i believe i could be wrong). sofia early on can be a tad bit too much for some people with the innuendoes, which only makes up a small portion of her voice lines. she really is a hoot when doing base game quests and responding back to npcs like nazeem. something to annoy zach with, use i have something for you and giver her mead or wine.
So Zach's childhood crush was Cruels Devil.
