Put a preorder in with my preferred online hobby shop then few hrs later 2nd thoughts came and i cancelled it. Need to stop living in the past, whether i never had 1 new or not. Going to spend the $ on RCs that my kids and i can have some memories with for now. Blackfoot and T-Shot from childhood are here if i need a moment. -U10

Pre-ordered... however I would love to see a RC10T. I would stare at the advert for days as a kid, but never had the money for one.
Ordered! The same year I received my Falcon for Christmas, my best mate received an RC10. I did my best to convince myself the Falcon was better suited for the track than the heavy RC10 🤨. Happy to still have my original Falcon (restoration in progress) and a new RC10 to sit along side of it!

Yep, ordered. One vintage trend I would LOVE to see, never going to happen .. old race parts. Hot Trick for example. As an 80s teen working/racing for the local hobby shop, I built up a few customer cars with full Hot Trick parts for example. Ever seen a total blank check Hot Trick Tamiya Fox? Built a couple for customers, and yea its still a Fox but DAM they looked sweet! Did pretty well on track. Also, the ATK Race Prep Radiant 4wd. Raced against a few in my day, that would be a cool rerelease. Those are non existent these days.

I have had the 6 Gold pans that I have for about 25 or so years. And I still have the one I raced when I was 8 or 9. 3 of mine has never see power and I set one up for vintage racing years ago and one setup with the truck conversion using the Lunchbox wheels and tires... I like the CE better than the 6 gear. So, I may wait to see if they release that in the future.

Same. My brother and I had a Tamiya Fox, but it wasn’t in the same realm as the RC10. We eventually got optima mids though. 😂

For the people that are crying “mOneY gRaB,” whatever. I suppose Kyosho is just as bad for their Legends lineup 😂.
There are no “cheap,” hobbies and many of these companies run thin margins in order to stay competitive and release products. They’re taking a gamble on re-releases and it seems to be paying off. The list of now-defunct companies is plenty long, and people complain years after the companies are shuttered because there’s no variety in the market.

@@Luke-en2tk 1/8 scale Associated Nitro Suspension Car. They came 2WD and there was a 4WD upgrade kit. Mid late 80's. Back in the day I had the Trio with a 1/12 RC12 as well. The RC500 wasn't a bad car they won a world title. They were very tough compared to other brands in the day. You could hit a board hard and they would remain in tweak. Heavy though compared to the euro cars.

@@Luke-en2tk Not a buggy a proper circuit car. Foam tires, belt driven front axle with one way bearings. Associated have been around since the very earliest days of RC. I think they dropped out of Nitro Circuit cars when they changed hands. More money in electric back then.

Associated is only shipping to North and South America. Eventiall it'll be offered world wide through dealers.

I don’t get why they don’t keep this model as a regular catalog item. It would sell pretty well. I’m getting a little over the price gouging with all the limited editions.
Would of been great if they released the clear Edition as a readily available proper runner "nylon parts"with that silver chassis and readily available parts , instead releasing in limited editions where they become too precious to run , just like my 2013 a shelter.
Because it’s a very niche market. I think from a marketing perspective selling limited editions years or even decades apart is probably a better strategy

So many aftermarket parts out for RC10's these days, I would just get an older chassis and upgrade it for racing. I think now, it's a viable option for vintage racing.

@@hashimrahman51 It's just a joke about "Limited Edition", sometimes with several batches like the RC10 Classic Kit re-release. With the 40th Release 2024, they can produce a maximum of 9999 numbered kits.

The worst kept secret in the industry. Boy, I'm glad I waited on the CC. Much rather have a kit that I can build and run. Love the laser etched logo on the chassis.

Losi already said they won't do a re-release. They don't want to affect vintage values. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
