surfactant, which lowers the surface tension of the wax, which is what is holding it together as a big blob at the beginning. Which is why at the end it finally begins to move a little.

yes - surfactant, DI water, and goo kit wax. i am not exactly sure what the surfactant is since goo kit does not divulge that information openly.
