@@sheikhyaboooty I give the British a lot of credit for originating the shows that led to Sanford and Son and All in The Family. But I seriously doubt that I would like the original versions as much as the American versions. Just a different flavor.

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen this episode in its entirety, but the woman at the door is not LaWanda Page who played Aunt Esther, it’s an actress by the name of Beah Richards...she played in 2, or 3 episodes of the first season, and was called “Aunt Ethel”. But if you don’t believe me, you can always Google it I guess.
