  • Should a grower band or broadcast fertilizer applications? In this new Practical Farm Research (PFR) study, phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) fertilizers are being put to the test in various rates and tillage practices, in both broadcast and banded applications. Phosphorus is being applied in the form of monoammonium phosphate and potassium is applied in the form of potash. The three tillage practices this study is performed on include: no-till, strip-till, and conventional-till field conditions.
Watch this video to hear scouting updates in this study from Brady Rogers, IN PFR Location Lead, with Ellie Schuler, IN PFR Summer Intern and Brandon Somers, KY PFR Location Lead, with Camille Lambert, KY Field Sales Agronomist.
