There are so many helpful features on your color wheels. I especially appreciate the medium and low chroma wheels, as well as the matching tube colors. I taught color in art classes, and have never seen this kind of solution for chromas so accurately, such an ingenius solution for a well researched topic. Thank you for your hard work as well as making it free for your viewers!

Our physical eyes cannot see the full spectrums there but also there are layers of translucency in things and plants like sky high cedars and 6 food wide flowers are even more alive, sing and such! I asked a tree down the road at the park to TOUCH ME IF IT COUKD HEAR ME and that low branch pushed INTO THE WIND 2 feet to not only touch my face within 30 seconds but pushed further to embrace my face! There are devices that play the sound frequency of different vegetation here and I have a 24 hour video of indoor plants that move throughout the day! A tomato plant will grow larger tomatoes if you put red coverings under it, competing with what it things is its neighbor tomato! Gods creation is amazing even here more than we know.

It is very interesting, because I was taught in school that the primary colors are magenta, cyan, and yellow, and my entire life I have been told that I am wrong, people look at me like I am saying something weird, like telling them that I was taught that there are 7 instead of the correct answer, which is 5 or 6 (wait a second...).
Then there are the people who say that I was taught "printer theory".
Then I thought that most people are actually taught just RGB because we were starting in the digital revolution, and that was most important, so even for painting in class, they used additive systems for all their art, while my teachers showed me substractive and additive systems separately, because we painted a lot with a acrylics.
Anyway, I am happy that my school and my HS teacher actually showed me a better version of the primary colours, and I am happy that now I understand why some people were taught the primary colours were red, blue, and yellow.

WHat is really great about your system is that you have connected it to actual pigments. It's frustrating to learn about colour theory and then realise that in practice you need to compromise based on the pigments available. Having the pigments placed on the colour wheel makes it much easier to put into practice.

Great material, clearly explained and packed with fundamental clarifications, such as the limitations for mixing paint when using any of the systems. I use Munsell to control values and the RYB model for hue and chroma mixing, but always referring to Munsell for the final visual result. Watching this video has given me the curiosity to explore others. Thank you, Florent!

RED is already contaminated with yellow to be able to slide into the blues. PRINTERS, all things printed use CYAN, MAGENTA and YELLOW...and black. not all colors can still be printed from this either but it's a good start.

  • @sarahhavillamelooliveira5825

You are like handprint, but make it CZcams.
    I choose the following:
Pyrrole red, quinacridone magenta, pthalo emerald, benz yellow, ultramarine, pthalo blue (would use pthalo cyan if it was still a thing), transparent oxide red and yellow, dioxazine purple and last but not least; gold. Just cause I like it.

"Desire to fit a chosen contour, such as the pyramid, cone, cylinder or cube, coupled with a lack of proper tests, has led to many distorted statements of color relations, and it becomes evident, when physical measurement of pigment values and chromas is studied, that no regular contour will serve."
