    Just discovered your channel and have been watching all your lovely sculpts. Before painting the scales with the beige sculpty reminds me of the luck dragon from never ending story.

    Ahhh, yes. The Chinese dragon. Magnificent, isn't it? I didn't see a lot of those painted in blue. It looks awesome! All that hard work making those scales really paid off. I give it a big thumbs up and I'm smashing that subscribe button. Hell, maybe I'll even ring the bell to get notified about the new videos.

    Hey completly begginer here (in polymer clay sculpting).
    GREAT thanks for tip with Isopropyl alcohol - i used it on sculpted wings which was shining (probably because of fat of my body after sculpting). After using alkohol, wings "texture" looks same like rest of elements :D

    He’s magnificent, think maybe the cloud could have done with a darker wash but it might be lighting. It just seems too stark in contrast.

    Scales are kinda like doing brickwork on dioramas then. I hate it. Fricking hate it. Did a large scale castle years back. Still have nightmares ... But hey your blue noodle turned out amazing! You keep demonstrating heaps of talent.

    please I need help in somthing I have premo clay I don't know how to soften it I heated it but it gets hard quickly I added baby oil but when I try to smudge two pieces it cracks and not get smooth with me when I make details

    • @KalashAesthetic
      @KalashAesthetic  Před rokem

      You can't soften polymer clay with heat, it will only cure. There are special clay softeners you can buy. Or mix it with another polymer clay that is just softer overall. Other than that, just knead it and condition it a lot. Is the clay new? Polymer clay gets very hard and brittle when it gets old.
      Can also try mixing the clay with some liquid clay but it will get a bit sticky.
