Alex you should bring a pair of pruners in your pocket to get through all the bushes you tend to go into.
My thoughts exactly!!
😅😅😅
Or a machete next time..❤
Or at least put your hair up and cover it to prevent snagging it.
Loved that spinning dolly!!! I was screaming don’t leave the melted poison. It was amazing!!! I needed it so bad.
same loved the melted bottle.
Me too!
I don't know why, but I do love a wonky melted bottle!
“Who doesn’t have a corroded spoon collection?!” You gave me a good laugh Gail! 😂 Always enjoy your videos no matter what you find but a good bead outing 🙂
If you don’t have a corroded spoon collection, who are you- THE QUEEN? Come to think of it, I bet the Queen had an extensive corroded spoon collection!
I broke out laughing aloud also. Her dry sense of humor is so wonderful.
The white porcelain piece may be part of a bedside lamp ,the centre hole being where the metal rod was placed and the wiring threaded through.
Thank you for the lark.
Could be broken schrapnal.
@@herbertriddleShrapnel * would be metal fragments, not porcelain.
Alex you could make you a walking stick that you could screw a hook in the end if needed to retrieve treasures from under the brambles or a pair of good sharp pruning shears in you to cut your way in. Your efforts will pay of some day!!!!😊❤
It never ceases to amaze me that you find individual lost beads as beads are normally used in groups. The little brass cover might be to protect a button on an airplane that does something like expel a bomb, or activate an escape mechanism. Some sort of thing you would not want to use by accident.
..or a peephole cover
Is it an egg separator? Whites flow through and leave behind the yolks? Just a wild guess! Love watching you ladies explore for treasures.
What a good idea!
Could we meet “Gramma”? I love to meet an ancestor of two such creative ladies.
I want to meet Grandma, too! Please include her, even it’s just to be introduced.
Yes! Agreed.
I always think those smaller blobby melted bottles would be great for windchimes. Not the chimes themselves but the weight or whatever it's called that hangs in the middle and gets moved by the wind to make the chimes ring. Anyway, just my thoughts. Thank you for sharing your adventures and finds!
The blue half bead would make a beautiful ring 😊
Love the two of you ,your enthusiasm, your love finding things, and the love for eachother! ❤❤
I love how you move your little doll around the table.
Alex in the bushes was great!😂 and I love the bagpipe player!
I love the music and flowers, i think the crested pottery is part of a bud vase.. I like the areas you cover that are nice and quiet and easy to find things... Love your channel ❤
I agree, it looks to be a bud vase 👍
I thought that as well.
Pruners for the tough branches! 😊
Oh gosh Alex, I laughed out load at your antics with the branches!😂😂
Alex you remind me so much of my dear niece whom passed away last year. Loved her dearly and miss her so much. Love watching you and your mom mud larking together.
❤
Such a great happy soul❤
Some lovely bead finds today. I was willing you to take the wonky poison bottle, it was really cute. The weird looking crestware was part of a bud vase with multiple holes, I think they held five flowers in total. That scarab cabochon is beautiful, can’t wait to see what you create with it.
I was willing the same thing!! I thought she ALMOST took it, but then she talked herself out of it. I was hoping the quirkiness of it would suck her in. Maybe if it's still there next time... 🖐🏽😁
Ok, just guessing on the copper item, maybe it covered a button to a piece of equipment that needed to be protected so it wouldn't accidentally get pushed. Your porcelain round piece, go ask grandma I know she knows! 😊 I gasped so loud Alex when you found the scarab piece! It's awesome! Sending much love and hugs!!!!❤
Alex, you are hilarious!!! I love you to bits, but I couldn't stop laughing when you were stuck in the bushes!!! 😂😂💕
Thank you guys. I sure enjoy watching your channel. Keep mudlarking!
I giggled so much when you were in the brambles Alex! Too funny! ❤️❤️😁
Awesome beads today Gail and Alex!! I adore watching where Mudlarking Charlotte is today, love her carnival ride. Thank you for all you share with us!!
Same here, I love searching for tiny Charlotte. I even pause the video if I can't find her before the video moves to the next scene. LOL I was however not able to find Charlotte in one of the scenes today. I am going to go back and really search for her... LOL Yeah, I know I'm crazy... But, I've come to love that little dolly and it makes me smile every time I manage to find her and the crazy places and positions she can be found in... 😂❤
Same!! Me too!! 😹😻
I absolutely love wonkey bottles so quirky
When my sister and I were small children, we learned how to break the dead small branches off (so that we could make our hidden paths to the fence to visit with the children who lived on the other side. We would play together through the fence wire until our mother, or their mother, called. Then we would crawl, very quickly, back through the blackberry bushes without mother knowing that we were visiting and playing with the children who lived on the farm next to ours. You can break off the dead branches and weave the ones that cannot be broken up and out of your way. Anna and I could crawl through those hidden paths without getting our garments torn or our skin cut. Our younger brothers joined us when our mother started letting them follow us. Needless to say, both sets of parents were very upset when they learned how long we had been visiting and playing together. They were trying to keep all of us from catching Poliomyelitis (Polio). After one end of the fence fell down, we played together everyday (until we moved away).
The group of beads you found today is amazing.
Finds always look beautiful cleaned up !! ❤🦘
I was laughing at Alex when the stick was in her cheek 😅😅😅 7:41
I loved the undergrowth scene , especially with your National Geographic hat ! Those two beads would be perfect as earrings ! That scarab is wonderful . Can’t wait to hear what you found in your garden . Thank you for sharing your foreshore finds 🙏🏻
I was just coming here to say earrings for those two beads as well! I am new to the channel and LOVE watching all of your finds!
Fascinating. Thank you girls ❤
Another fun, interesting and charming video xx
I look forward to each and every video with you two, love all the music you have in them. Take care ❤️
Hello from Tennessee USA i always enjoy watching you find treasures
Awww..you lucky duck..scarab find..my favourite ❤
And the terracotta ladies head..so pretty
I could watch you all day finding beads n marbles
Lovely to see you both 😊
The brass cap looks like it came off a pram wheel,it covered a greasepoint in the hub and protected it against dust etc, love the videos and the exuberance from you both
Wonderful finds today.
Brilliant adventure as always ladys.. love the Scottish bagpipes player.. so cool 😎
Maby part of a lamp base. Nice find.
Love the music and the search ladies. Smiles and hugs.
I love your growing bead collection.
Wow a lot of awesome finds. They are so cool. Just love them❤. I would enjoy finding things like that

Love your videos and the music you choose to accompany them. Thank you ladies.
Hope you’re having a wonderful day I watch everything you put out a keep finding the good stuff
Love the scarab and the red bead the best. love the history you dp as well!
I was thinking you should keep a safety pin in you pocket ,or bag for you to put beads on when you find them.
Omgoodness, once you brought up the "Sun Lady" , from last weeks episode, and actually had a name to search for, I've been on a TWO HOUR, WILD GOOSE CHASE, learning sooooooo much about Schafer and Vater comical bisque pottery! They're WILD and so fun, interesting and VAST! Thank you for sharing your fabulous find and I personally cannot wait for the next exciting "THING" you find that sparks "the need to know"!! lol
Love you ladies! 🥰
Another successful lark, the bead’s and scarab are beautiful. Great finds, take care and thank you for bringing us along with you 👏🙏❤️
Congratulations on awsome finds. My favourite is clay head and jade scarab is a truly unique treasure find. Great video.
great fun video gail and alex and you got some lovely finds x
Thanks guys xx
Nice video this weekend ! A lot of mysterious things !
Wonderful finds
I found a similar brass cover on google. It was listed as a vintage brass utilities valve cover. Yours is much smaller but could be a similar function. Great finds. Loved all the beads you found. Impressive. ❤
I thought it looked liked a gas valve cover ...is that "utilities"?
Omg you had me laughing so hard while you were fighting in the brush! Your hair and facial expression. I love your channel
Maybe a top to a milk churner
Quite the array of unusual bits and bobs and like you, I don't have a clue, although the thing that fits another thing is probably the best explanation 😂 Jam pour thru ?? makes sense to me 🤨 Those two lovely beads certainly look like Neiger style, I love their work. Another great adventure and poor Alex even lost hair for the cause ☹ Thank you for making my day ! Love and hugs 🥰🥰 xx
Nice finds ladies,I like that scarab cabochon the most,it looks like it might be gemstone
I love those jars that Gail found.
Could the white ceramic item be a porcelain candle or lamp bobeche?
The copper item looks like a door peep hole. Love all your finds, especially the beads!
Alex you make me smile , you seem undeterred getting tangled in the bushes also you would go down a mouse hole for the treasures. You Mam Gail love it to and I’m using the expression you use when you like a find (I love it). You’re both truly amazing and love you both for entering my home by means of your fantastic channel.. Thank you for sharing.
Your glass finds are absolutely incredible! So many stunning colours and shapes.
What I loved about this episode: Alex's smirk after climbing out of the bush, Gail saying you're not hip if you don't have a spoon collection (which I don't so, clearly, I am not hip 😂) and the high five my 4 year-old gave me when Alex found the scarab cabochon. Awesome finds this time ladies!
That little brass piece might be a switch cover a lot of times on ships and planes you want to cover your switches so they don't get pushed accidentally. Love the vlog as usual!😊
I thought maybe a little mounted compass holder, with the cover to protect the glass. I like your possibility better!
Love the little scarab!
Loved the scarab . ❤
Love the scarab! Unique fond for sure.
Those multi-colored beads may justify taking your sifter to check for more in that area...the scarab and the piper are very cool finds...looking forward to next week Karl from eastern Canada
Hi from Mississippi in the USA! I love watching y'alls videos!
Alex , I would swear there was another bead right under the first you found. Oh well, one for you to find next time you two go back😊 Thank you ladies for another great adventure!
I saw it too! 😮❤😂
GREAT FINDS
I love watching your adventures, I wondered if your mystery object was an egg separater. Great finds, love the scarab.
Get the melty poison. So Cool! Loved the scareb!
Hope you find all you want!
Lots of Love, Light and Laughter Forever!
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Alex! haha too funny seeing you try to get into the brush haha LOVE IT. EDIT: 5:59 If i was to venture a guess, i would say part of a electric lamp of some kind.
Lots of great beads on this lark. But the find of the day for me is the scarab! I am crazy over them & that one is gorgeous! ❤ from Michigan, USA
The brass piece with the lid on the hinge I think you will find is an old spy hole cover for on the door so you could stop someone looking in from the other side.I know they used to be covered at one stage…Thanks for taking us along..Love n Light 🥰
Great job. Always so interesting.
Alex, you had me laughing so hard while you were tangled up in the brambles.😂
I think the white glass base with the hole in the center is the base of a small lamp. I had a lamp with the exact same base. I also think the broken head had a bead to help glue it back together. I loved all the finds today.
Alex, it brings great joy to watch you search. Your beauty and and talk are so enjoyable.
Amazing video once again.😊
I think the second metal thing Mom found was the handle of a razor. Thank for the lovely little video..wish I could really join you!
Last week's mystery find - the ceramic round disc with ridges running along it - I have solved the mystery! It's what you put in a pan of water, that you then bring it to the boil - for boiling potatoes, or whatever - and the ceramic disc stops the pan from boiling over. You can still buy these here in Australia at kitchen ware shops. My mum had a few of them - and they work - you should test yours out! Also, the reason there was an Egyptian revival in the 1920s, in jewellery, fashion and architecture, was because the Englishman Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb full of fabulous treasures, in 1922. Amazing!
Alex, that brass piece that opened and closed looks like a toilet lid for a dollhouse. I've been watching the miniature channel from Kit and Caboodlers, can you tell? What a wonderful bead day you had! That scarab cabochon is amazing. Another wonderful video.
Always love the beads, Gail found a great one, but that green scarab cabochon is amazing! I really hope it makes it back into a piece of jewelry...
So beautiful ❤love your choice of music
It could be an emerald ❤
Wow at the beads! But the scarab is the best. It's amazing and my guess would be czechoslovakian or could even be the orient or Egypt. Just stunning and such a special piece for a ring or necklace. Nice find. Very sorry about the loss of the jewelry but that was a horrible time in history.
Another fun adventure! Thank you both so much! I think the white ceramic thing might be for single floral stems, that way they stand upright better. The small metal piece with the flap looks like a peep hole cover (inside) for a door.
the three finned piece might be part of a lamp. Another amazing treasure hunt! Thanks for making these videos! My Gammy just turned 100 last week :)
Congratulations on your Gammy's Centennial Celebration.
Thanks 😊
Sunny days ahead❤
You lovely ladies find some of the neatest stuff. I love to tag along.
I think your circular brass thing with scallops coming down off of it. My great aunt gave Me a beaded bag with the top of the bag having telescoping in and out with a wonderful brass thing with holes in it to anchor the material of the lining and the beaded bag anchored ion to the lining👍🏽💰
I wish you had taken the melted blue bottle. I dearly loved it. Hello from Texas.
I found a 1919 half penny in the garden last week. I know there used to be some cottages here and I've found lots of bits of clay pipe, brick, slate glass and pottery. It always makes me wonder what they would say if they could talk...lovely explore as always!
Wonderful outing ladies.
Love the beetle and its such a beautiful colour different finds this week. Stay safe.
Wow, all the beads!! Love the scarab!! Great finds!
