I'm 57 years old and have been a headbanger for nearly all of it. The first time I heard Melody sing I actually teared up because only one other singer EVER hit me right in the heart like she does and that was Ronnie James Dio.
In my 61 years old eyes, they are the best new metal act since a lonnnnnnng time. I'm now an avid follower

She's kind of a "Janis Joplin meets Bonnie Tyler" with some Dio sprinkled here and there. These kids have a lot of potential. They say they want to bring rock music back to prominence, they are the future and their time is coming. I really want them to succeed.

Iâm blown away this young Lady can sing ,she put it all out there. She makes the Originals sounds second-best.
Melody is so gifted with a voice that is mesmerizing, she doesn't skip a beat. The whole group, is outstanding, from the youngest to the oldest.

So true, when they did Joan Jett I was blown away that Melody's vocal and energy blew Joan Jett away. I love Joan Jett. But I can't deny Melody's vocals. So far every style from metal to pure rock has be perfect

the thing I love about her voice is she's not afraid of over singing or singing with a dirty tone,,,, it gives her a power that not many singers can pull off... love the ending scream I'd like to hear more of that higher range from her

As a Gen X'er, the generation who saw the explosion of real metal, I'm impressed not just with the talent here, which is obvious, but with the reverence these guys have for where it all came from. My first concert, at the age of 15, was Iron Maiden World Slavery Tour, with Megadeth opening. I've seen every metal great there is to see - I stopped trying to count the number of bands I've seen 20 years ago. I sang for my band Rebellion in high school, and I play it all on guitar.
And now I would LOVE to see THESE kids live. I like some of their original stuff as well - Nothing is a great song. I'll be keeping my eye on their tours.
One of the best rock and roll voices I have heard in the last 50 years. She is Phenomenal. Can't wait for more complex originals ( a Whiskey and cigarette voice without doing them) Hope they stay with the Hard Rock and don't sell out for todays sappy commercial crap.

I don't know if you have ever heard of Greta Van Fleet, but they are a young band from Michigan that has a 70's rock sound like Led Zeppelin. They sound a lot like them but have all original music. Checkout "Highway Tune" and "When the Curtain Falls" by them.
Their newest album is all originals, no covers.

well their father manages and produces their stuff. i heard that theyre not interested in going with a big label so they wont be selling out. hell theyre father pulled them out of one of them americas got talent shows just so they wouldnt fall under someone elses control
@@paulwilliams819 I was a big GVF fan in the early going. Still like them, but they sound too much like Led Zep still to me. I love the fact that Liliac has it's roots in pop from way back and that they can change up any song they do and not sound strictly like other metal band whenever they want. Having Lililac, GVF, Taf Farrant and Courtney Hadwin all bring Rock N Roll back to the young generations of today is what I'm loving. "Rock Never Dies"

I have been a rock & roller for most of my life. But, just wanted to say that down here in Baton Rouge Louisiana. I have been hoping for a band that would bring me back to my original roots and you are my new sound. Thank you for your dedication and ROCK ON. You know there is a level of professionalism that needs to be observed here. "LILIAC" has accomplished more then most bands have done in the past in such a short period of time. It is amazing that no one hasn't scooped them up yet?

I'm 66, and I was never really a big "metal" fan, but I like music from a lot of genres. (as my playlists will show) I ran across a video of them on Santa Monica Pier almost 4 years ago, doing "Crazy Train". I did some searching, and found "Enter Sandman" by Metallica, and I was hooked. I watched everything I could find on them. I think Melody did the best cover of Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart" that I have ever heard. That said, I'm not as big of a fan of their second album (although I bought both) as their first. The biggest reason I can come up with, is that Melody seems to be putting a bigger emphasis on the high pitched, or 'screeching' notes, than she did before, and I feel it takes away from the quality of her voice. Just MHO.

I saw a comment somewhere stating that her voice is like as if she had swallowed roses and razors and made the best of this combination. Plus what are the odds that 5 out of 5 children of the same couple will be musical talents? Dad Cristea must know something :-D
But I wonder when did he realise that Melody's voice is actually the jackpot.....her uniqueness at any age trumps all the other young bands. And her personality and stage presence captivates you....highly addictive, Liliac !
