Please answer my question......
Where is old games of 2 years difference?
Where is
MIDDLE EARTH SHADOW OF WAR?
WITCHER 3?
Theirs no way you’re getting 40 fps with a 3090 if I’m getting 30-50 fps with my gaming laptop with a 3070 ultra settings and psycho raytracing on Cyberpunk. Theirs something wrong here.
In Italy the 3090 costs 1100 $, the 4090 starts at 2000 $ for the founders edition and from 2500 $ for the custom. So you get x1.75 performance for x 2.3 price
but thats a highend card you cant compare that... you dont play games double as fast... you can just get e.g. the resolution from 1440p to 2160p with same fps so its bit better visual quality but is it worth that prize? you can get same fps with a 3060ti on 1080p
Well I snagged a 4090 for 1599.99 on release day here in the U.S but. 2000 for a 4090 is just not worth it
In Ukraine you can by 3090 just for 800 - 850 dollars when 4090 for 1700-1800. Its more than double price in our country.......
@@crazywall256 In my country singapore the following RTX 4090 models cost above SGD $3000, quoting the list from my local shop. That is equivalent to about $2400++ in USD dollars. Freaking insane. You are lucky to purchase it at 1599.99 in USD.

@@Universeverse923 Haha, true :D And comparing the 4090 to my purchase of the 6950xt (3090 performance) it's 70-95% more performance for 200-230% more price!! A reasonable price for a 4090 should be not more than 1200 bucks.
😂😂@@mhnoni
In other words. The 4090 is a massively faster card but the 3090 is more than adequate in all but a few select games. I'd like to see a VR performance comparison.
The 4090 is more power efficient as well, so you pay for research & development too. Also, I dont see you complaining about iphones being overpriced as well despite offering less lmao
@@GamingIntelCoreM-y Iphones are massively overpriced for what they are, particularly any 'new' version that has some minor change nobody needs for some stupid additional cost. Needless to say I do not have an Iphone (and no, not because I couldn't afford it)
@@Mutrino the world disagrees with you since iphones are the #1 selling phone. 1.36 billion people own an iphone (according to google). If it was "overpriced" people wouldn't buy it. Iphone has the fastest chips, best cameras, most polished os, and amazing battery life. No other phone checks all those boxes, sure some niche android phone might have a giant 999 megapixel camera that's slightly better than an iphone camera but it's gonna be garbage in every other category. As someone who used to own a samsung galaxy phone, I can say that iphones are just better. They're expensive, but they're not "overpriced" relatively speaking when comparing to the competition. The added "freedom" or "customization" of an android phone is useless for most people. Obviously this is my opinion, but the market agrees with me.
Same thing with Nvidia. Nvidia is basically the apple of the gpu world.
@@ilovehotdogs125790 I disagree with your statement. 'If it was overpriced people wouldn't buy it'. That is simply not true. I am not saying iphones are 'bad' phones. They are certainly good phones. But it is nonsense to say that they always win in every category. Simply not true. When you start comparing the flagship phones the Samsung galaxy phones are superior to the Iphones when it comes to battery life and cameras. 'Better' very much depends on your use scenario. As an example, for my use case a windows machine is far superior to a Mac. And when it comes to stupid fast chips, cool, most people don't need/use that either. Iphones are stupid expensive to repair but do keep their value better. So overall, certainly not the clear win for Iphones you make it out to be. It very much depends.
@@GamingIntelCoreM-ywhat did iphones have to do with anything
There was a couple spots where even the 4090 stuttered with Cyber Punk. That game needs some serious optimization work.

@Peter ehh, that's debatable it diffently plays better and is less buggy, but given its graphics out side of ray tracing it could still use so.e work
@@D00ML0RD1 WRONG LOL cdpr wanted the pre order profits lol nobody forced them to release the game they did it themselves.
For most games the .1% low is kinda strange with the 4090. I wonder if that will be resolved with drivers or if it doesn't pose any real world issues.
Great comparison video I just recently bought a 3090 right before the 4090 came out because it was at a good price. The fact that you are getting close to 100 FPS at 4K with a 3090 is really reassuring considering that I game at 1440p which will give me more than enough FPS at ultra settings
Hey, I plan on purchasing a 3090 ti also, what CpU would you recommend? I was thinking about purchasing a 12700k but not sure if I should get a 12900k or a 13th gen. The 12900k and 13th gen run really hot so If I go with those I would have to upgrade my AIO. I plan on gaming at 1440 p and sometimes 4k.
@@dusk3219 for gaming only many even recommend the 12600k and I have seen it's performance in many reviews, it holds up well. But for me as my recently built machine was also a work station so I opted for the 12700k, it's a great CPU and was a good choice for me. So I think you're pretty safe going with the 12700k, the 12900k has a good performance boost but if you don't run any other workloads than gaming then I think it might be overkill esp with power consumption and then the obvious price difference. Same goes for the 13th gen, I watched some reviews they are a great performance boost and the same 13700k has a lot of boost over 12700k but then again the downside - power consumption has been increased and then comes the price, I say if Money is not a problem you can go for the 13700k heck even the 13600k as its gaming performance is close to the 12900k !
@@CovertPhilosopher Thanks man, this was reassuring! Could you define “workloads”? I mainly plan on gaming. I have a dual monitor setup where I normally watch a show, movie, anime or CZcams on my second monitor all while gaming. Nothing too major. My PC would purely be for entertainment for now. Money is very tight at the moment so If I could save money by going with a 12700k that’s what I would love to do! But if I need to upgrade I would. So you think I should go with the 12700k? Also I was wondering does a 3090 ti *need* to be water cooled to be efficient ? When I look up best coolers for 3090 ti, see people using water cooling as a solution. Does it really run that hot? Could I just use fans to cool it? I don’t plan on OC my gpu. Sorry to bombard you with a bunch of questions but this is my first pc build
@@dusk3219 sorry for the late reply, so by workloads I meant specific tasks that hog the CPU with or without the GPU in use. Like some programs that require processing or calculations a lot and also multi threaded usage, for me that could be development related usage based on running of processor n memory heavy programs. For your use case I think your pretty good as it's only for entertainment purposes but opening multiple apps alongside like you intend I would recommend getting a minimum of 16gb ram. As for the CPU i think the i7 12700K would be solid for you, not advocating as I have it, I think it will future proof you a bit too, and talking about the future - yes when buying myself I checked out the upcoming sockets, so your 12th gen board will support the 13th gen but beyond that like for the 14 or 15 gen yes you will need a new board but that is us looking too far down the road. So I think yes if money is a constraint just go for the 12th gen on either the 12600 or the 12700k, hope this helps.
And as for the GPU, air coolers run just fine, though keep in mind while looking for one find a GPU from an AIB preferably which has good reviews and esp on cooling. As for the comparisons yes the water cooled rigs are more efficient but require more maintenance, air cooled CPU and GPU always have a longer life according to experts and provide decent enough cooling. But - if you don't want a mini heater in your room dishing out so much hot air and that heat is of a major concern to you then by all means go for the liquid cooler, just bear in mind that the RnD should be thorough and that you buy something that best suits you and has a good overall life.
P.S. I also did my first ever build after decades recently so I got to know some stuff :)
@@CovertPhilosopher No problem! Better than no reply at all! Bro you made my day with this reply. Ive been frustrated for weeks trying to figure out the best specs for my needs and budget and the internet was not helpful whatsoever. You’re literally carrying my PC build and I really appreciate you. Now, I plan on doing 32 g of ram from either kingston fury or corsair, but I’m not sure if I should get ddr4 or ddr5… I should have a compatible motherboard for 5 but I’ve heard about ddr5 being not worth the upgrade and ddr4 outperforming 5 or something like that, I haven’t done much research. What do you think
Thanks for all your tests! They do really help a lot! 🙏
It appears there really is some big Jumps in Performance from just 2 Years ago. Some are Double the Performance.
dlss is on , if he turn it off , there is only 30% difference
None of them doubled the performance
All of that for almost double the price. What next? 3200 dollar for twice as fast?
@@Alone_son without dlss its still 50%+ better
It doubles the performance of the 3090 Ti in some games.
The RTX 4090 is around 50%-80% faster than the RTX 3090, whilst consuming around 10% higher power (or in other reviews 30% higher). In price to performance comparison the RTX 4090 is 1599$ and the 3090 is around 900$, so I would say it's pretty balanced. With all of those metrics I would say if you want the absolute top end, best of the best gpu, the RTX 4090 is for you, but the RTX 3090 and RX 6900 XT is still a good choice. If you don't want to pay 1600$ for a gpu, just wait for the RX 7000 series. On the other hand, those gpu releases will definitely affect the prices of GPU in lower tier models, so for us low- mid range gamers, this is the right time to buy a gpu.
In Finland I got 3090ti for 1000, meanwhile same tier 4090 is 2500. I was gonna get 4090 but the pricing is insane in here for some reason sadly
No, no está equilibrado
I got 2080Ti in March 2020 for 1600$
Stop promote AMD
No one in 'the Know' is going to touch the 4090 right now due to issues with the 12vhpwr connector. This has been dominating the hardware news for the last couple of days. Poor scalpers! I really feel sorry for the people that bought this card.... the EARLY ADOPTERS TAX is a btch sometimes. This is the main reason why people always say to wait a couple months.
People who spend that kind of money on a card don't care much about the Price to performance ratios. Remember at launch the 3090 was nearly double the price of the 3080 while only offering 10% more performance. Then people tried to bill the 3090 as a Poor Man's workstation card. I can't really think of too many xx80, xx80ti, xx90, or Titan cards that were a good value in comparison to lower tier cards.
In many games, the 0.1% lows of the 4090 are higher than the avg of the 3090, now that's impressive. I hope this kind of performance increase will at least somwhat be inherited by the lower tier cards too...

I know it would be tough to do because of boost tables, but you should do an IPC comparison as well, see how much actually they were able to gain architecturally and how much is just the higher clocks. Because from the results here the 4090 is looking more and more like an overclocked 3090

AAA gaming on high refresh rate ultrawides is becoming a very real possibility
Let's hope it gets more affordable and game devs don't start slacking off on their optimisation (especially you, Cyberpunk guys)

The 4090 is more like the Ada version of the GTX 780.... compare that to the GTX 580 which had the big boy GF110 GPU from the previous Generation. Kepler was so good that Nvidia used the GTX 600 series as a stopgap while waiting to release their full-fat GPU.
The RTX 4090 is way faster and definitely worth it if you can afford it...the i9 12900k is also bottlenecking it so you could have used an overclocked 13900k at least
$1500 vs $1600. Thats why you dont pay for this shit. They're playing the market, they could've easily given us 4090 performance in the 3090, but nope. They'll just save that huge leap for the next one and so on. However, that price tag will be set even higher. For $1600 you might as well build an entirely new rig, or pay your car note.
Is this with or without DLSS enabled ?
using dlss. pointless test
It achieves it at a lower power, WOW!
I have 3090 and feels like my PC already obsolete
I'm late to the party, but I finally got my hands on a 13900k and 4090. I just can't even begin to believe the massive leap in performance. I play on 3440x1440p
There is a saying, please do wating for an entry level card I mean the so-called RTX 8050 with both a way way way of loooow power consumption and money consumption to gonna be somehow a little bit equal to that performance of RTX 4090 in the future!
i think im gonna wait for another years see if this GPUS drop prices. you can build a new highend gaming pc already for that 4090 GPU price.
so ur going to wait until hyperinflation lol.
Why not with 13900K or 7950X?
cant wait to get mine next week!
Good luck setting your power connector on fire
@@bretttanton328 starting to get a bit chilly so will definitely help
@@GatorJT15 💀
I'd check out the 12VHPWR connector problem before plugging that sucker into your system.
@@m8x425 already have, just going to wait for the cable mod 90 degree adapter but my case is pretty big to where I don’t have to bend the cables
Why use DLSS on most of these games? It should be just raw rasterization performance.
Nice but the power draw ist insanely high!!!
why is it not absolutely maxxed? Whats this with the medium shit and the 3/4 sliders? Bro.
I just dont see much difference in output tho? Here people are selling 3090 at 700, I personally bagged 2 of em like year back at 800 each.. I think I am set for life for any GPU as such.. could run these 2 on SLI and beat 4090 right now ( if needed )
SLI 😂😂😂😂
@@rust2156 Bet you got 4090 @ 2k which is getting hammered
What's the difference between a £550 PS5 that's also capable of 4k at 60fps, or 120fps at 1440p?..without major changes in the settings being downgraded..Compared to the 30 series GPUs?
Doesn't seem like a reasonable upgrade, especially when it costs several times more
Ps5 runs most triple A games at internal resolution of sub 1080p to achieve 60fps and sub 1440p to achieve 30 fps. Those 4k and 1440p marketing are completely misleading, they are all upscaled resolution. Do your research buddy. Maybe want to watch digital foundry tech reviews. Any 3000 series cards like the 3060ti or higher get better fps in games if ran at ps5 settings
@@dhaumya23gango75 that's a load of shit.
I've seen native 4k games at 60fps. For intense games. The res drops to about 1440p maintaining 60fps. The only time it's below 1440p is when it's 120fps. You can still lock 1440p but then 120fps dips slightly. Gran Turismo is an example.
Solid 80 fps jump on Hitman 3 😬
4090 is only a beast because nvidia went from samsung's 8nm node which is a glorified 10nm node to 4N 5nm node from TSMC which is a lot better. they've practically done nothing except making the clockspeeds higher and add more cudacores because of the better node.
hmm... you people are making more sense 🤔
i feel like you guyz are employees in semiconductor factories. good knowledgeable people 😊👍 i get to learn a lot.
Cool, you got one right this time
2 years? 😨
You think windows 10 is better than 11 for gaming?
RTX 3090: 2 YEARS AND STILL WORKING
RTX 4090: 2 WEEKS AND BURNT POWER CABLES
🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is gold!! I own a 3080 but man this is hilarious.
If you pair 2x 3090 will it perform better?
I feel like rtx 4090 is a gtx 1080 of 2023
Where is last Metro and Crysis?
Nice, now test it without DLSS.
The I9 is more used ( 20 to 40 % ) with the 4090 . Crazy
Just mean its software build in 4090
Because it has to handle 50% to 80% more FPS. Limit the game in both cases to the same amount of FPS, and you will have the same utilization as well as power draw.
Do you really need high end or someone really used this maxed GPUs ??
Like its best for editing but for gaming its over kill for that era of gaming and all.
Budget GPUs are enough it think so also i am buying ps5 after using my pc for decade
My motive of comment is just asking tho why people use this overkill when budget gaming is good. I know its for passion and lot of people like 90% are budget gamers only. just curious.
Taken inflation into consideration they were released for the same price. It's nice to see such a big jump in performance.
Meanwhile enjoying 6600XT literally 100FPS FH5 1440P Ultra, and 1080P it destroys everything for $290, next upgrade option would be RX7000 midrange with 3090 performance.
Bullshit you ain't playing games like cyberpunk 2077 at 100fps with that card at 1440p.Its not a beast,mid-range at best
@@johnnyboogalo4897 I never said CP 2077 would run at 1440P, I said that about Forza Horizon 5, I only said it's a beast for 1080P, which is true if you are in the know. I am astonished by the fact that you thought (for no reason) that I was making a false claim that games like CP 2077 run at 1440P 100FPS ( I am not!), and went on to use bad language.
@@johnnyboogalo4897 My claim is that games like FH5 run at 1440P 100FPS, which is true if you've ever owned a 6600XT.
It is crasy card.
But also senseless. It is powerfull but super expensive, and also, do we realy need 150 + fps for single player games?
And how many people realy playing games 4K NOT in 60 Hz?
RTX 3090 still the best variant. Also we must not support Nvidia with such prices. Gaming MUST NO be so expensive (actually all Nvidia prices for 4000 is SUPER HIGH).
As for this generation RTX 3000 or AMD 6000-7000 series is the best for all 3-5 years.
I will wait for the RTX/Hybrid Ultra in 2030 which costs 10.000€ 😉😆
CPU on the left is chilling
Yeah but try it without DLSS
Motion BLUR is on sir.
Да все хорошо, но загрузка i9 и его температура и энергопотребление выше на те же 30-40%….
What are your OC settings my guy?
He doesn't overclock, most of his test are setting out of the box.

Please test 4090 in 8k
why is the CPU loaded 1.5x times more when using the 4090?
Pushing more frames
The price is even more huge then difference
Can you do the same test but with 8k gameplay please?
How are you only getting 70 fps on cyber punk with the 4090? I’m getting over 100. Sometimes even 120 -140 in some areas . On psycho settings with ultrawide monitor at 1440p
