I have severe IBS years ago and I found out I was allergic and still am allergic to high fructose corn syrup. I really really believe that IBS is brought about by all the NON FOOD items that we consume as ingredients, colorants, residues of packaging etc that are irritants to our gut. When I started eating really clean and eliminating all or most sugar and ingredients in food that are man-made I began to recover and I am 90% better. Honey, peppermint, and ginger have been crucial in my recovery.

There is so much info in this video I'm going to have to watch it a few times, thank you! I was sceptical but I made the pumpkin soup with coconut cream it and it was amazing!
Pumpkin (pre-baked with quality salt and pepper)

Fascinating! Probably the best video I ever watched. I took notes for my best friend who has suffered with IBS for months and I had no idea. We talked about her symptoms finally in depth and discovered it was triggered by a very stressful event after who saw two phycians, had tests done which came up negative and was told to take pepto bismal! She drinks Immodium all the time.
Thanks to you I believe she will get better and also I think all of this information can applied to every one. Can't wait to share this video with my husband and start feeling better. You guys truly blessed me today!!!

  • @jamesmcginn6291

    Lots of great advice here!!!
I cured my IBS with baking soda overdose about once a week. I generally do this early in the morning, before eating. It involves gulping down 3 to 5 teaspoons of baking soda in a cup of water. Over the next hour drink 2 or 3 cups of hot coffee. Then switch to cold water. Drink as much as you can. This should induce a bowel movement followed by very watery diarrhea. (Stay close to a toilet.) You may feel nauseous while this is happening but after 2 or 3 hours you will feel fantastic--no more bloating/spasms.
At first I would do this about ever other day. But since doing it regularly it seems my gut has healed and I need to do this less often.
I used to have chronic sleep problems related to IBS. It involved spasms and RLS (restless leg syndrome). Often these symptoms would last for days or weeks. You might even say I had somewhat of a personality disorder due to the chronic lack of sleep--I lived a life of desperation. I was always on edge. It was a struggle just to feign normalcy. Now everything is easy. It's even easier to eat right because I don't have the cravings I used to have.
I should also mention that I have learned to be very aware of food additives, including citric acid. These used to induce severe episodes of bloating and spasms. Since doing the regular baking soda cleanses I am less sensitive. But I still avoid fast food and read a lot of labels in supermarkets.

I have been having IBS for 30 years. I have tried all the "remedies" described in the video. None worked. But now my IBS has subsided. There is nothing we can do if we have severe IBS except ignoring all medicines, therapies and diet. Eat as usual, don't take medicines and just wait for the IBS to subside. Frankly speaking, we just surrender ourselves to our fate. One day may come when our IBS lessens.

I experienced great improvement of my IBS by eliminating wheat from my diet and taking Probiotics.
It surprises me to see that for some reason you avoided talking about the number one cause of IBS in the industrial man's diet which are wheat products! Wheat contains large amount of the infamous gluten that is the main cause of IBS, and even worse, it is genetically modified! Instead you talk about grains in general, but brown rice for example does not trigger IBS.

I have suffered from stomach illness for a long time. I became lactose 3 years ago. I found out on my own. I started getting sick 6 months ago, after 2 months of going to doctors i was diagnosed with Hplori. After the medication, the sickness came back, took 2 more test for Hplori they were negative. I knew my headache was coming from my stomach. Moved to a new state, new doctor( doesn’t help). I was having abdominal pain tonight, watched the first half of this video, then had some ginger.👏🏿 i cant believe the result. By the way doctors made me take HIV test 🤬 because they didn’t know my stomach issues.

IRAQ HERO I 1. Fruit alone, 4oz or less.
      2. Measure. Don't eat too much.
      3. Cut out dairy and meat, at least for a month or so.
      4. Eat vegetables.
      5. Don't eat all the time. 2-3 meals
      6. Don't go to bed right after eating.
      7. No sugar/bread products.
      8. Allergens: can be eggs, soy, peanuts, corn, dairy (eggs are not dairy), wheat.
      9. Ginger/tumeric tea.
      10. Eat salad w white vinegar (I had a hard time with Apple cider vinegar) and mint.
      11. Keep health journal, what you ate, how you felt after, when you had to go, any other symptoms or issues.
      12. Eat one thing at a time. I had severe reactions to EVERYTHING. I ate rice I made, organic basmati, with a tiny bit of olive oil and sea salt. I felt better.
      13. cook veggies if you're having issues. Nothing spicy.
      14. NO coffee, alcohol, carbonation (yes, you'll get a headache if you drink caffeine all the time and quit, so go gradual).
      15. Sea Salt.
      16. Use romaine if kale hurts now. I found celery, carrots, dill and mint are ok. Had relief from ginger/tumeric tea, but you can't jump right into meat right away if you get a reprieve. Salads. Rice. Measure.
just my experience...which was severe and over 8 months. I seem to be in remission as of today, but yesterday was bad, lol :)

      Hi Iraq Hero I
I posted this above but I though I'd post it here again just incase my story might help you:
I struggled with this for almost 40 years before finding this solution. I try not to think about all the time I wasted being miserable.
      James McGinn
