  • Install the two way mirror film fast and easy to glass without making mistakes. For a professional look and installation, get the mirror film application kit. It comes with everything you need to make it look amazing!
    00:0 Introduction
    0:22 Cutting Film
    1:28 Removing Protective Laminate
    2:52 Film Application Spray
    3:20 Applying The Film
    Easy step-by-step installation process:
    1---
Trim the film with scissors or box cutter to be slightly larger than your glass.
    2---
Peel the back side of the film off first. That will be the side facing the glass. Pro tip: you will want to use a piece of tape to pull the back side of the film off to reveal the sticky adhesive.
    3---
Spray the clear glass and film with the mirror film solution before installation. This helps get the air bubbles out for a nice, smooth finish.
    4---
Use the squeegee to push water out from under the film.
    5---
Be sure to trim the excess film with a razor blade once it is applied.

One thing he failed to mention was the static. When you peel off the protective film the sheet picks up a static charge and immediatly starts attracting all the dirt and dust in the air to itself. You want to spray onto the film as you peel it off to help reduce this happening. When you go to apply the film both the film and the window have already been sprayed. As well as cleaning the window, you may also want to clean the window frame, sill and walls nearby. What I do is damp down the whole area around the window with a sponge. So then if you happen to touch the wall or frame the dust on it stays there instead of getting kicked up and attracted to the film before you get it in place.

@@Ironbuket really good info. I’ve done car windows but not home windows. I assume it’s the same process but easier. With it being reflective I’m assuming application would need to be on the outside so you can see out well reflecting light vs tint you put on the inside.

    Hello again :)
I have a clean glass that it is see through almost 100 %
and a matt glass which is again see through but not so great.
in what of those glasses the mirror effect would be better, in what of those glasses i will see my reflection better?
Right now on the matt glass that i apply the film, i have to go a little bit close to see my reflection cleaner(also it is a little bit blurry and dark).

@@twowaymirrors I want to put this behind a 6ft antique half moon sunburst frame above my front door. The frame may not be sturdy enough to put a heavy mirror but a mirror film would work.
