Bolton Abbey in the Yorkshire Dales

A short journey through the Bolton Abbey estate in the heart of The Yorkshire Dales. Set amidst rolling moorland the River Wharfe winds it's way through some of the most beautiful landscape in England. At the Strid the river passes through a series of rocks, in places less than 1m wide. Many people hase lost their lives trying to jump the Strid (stride). Below the Strid Bolton Abbey has a wonderfully romantic setting. A stunning place to visit. I hope you enjoy this film.

Nicely done! I used to go there when I was a nipper, I have a lot of Family history here and near by. Thank for sharing. I will probably try and visit this summer, as its been about 40 years since last visit. Cheers
