Do you have plans to trace the route of the proposed extension from Cardiff Bay Station? It could be a source of more relics.
At the moment it's still in discussion about which route it will take, but that's not a bad idea once it's confirmed. Thanks.
Thanks for that update on progress there, Bob. Apart from a couple of channels, I have been able to find very little on the progress of the Metro. Even TfW seem to concentrate more on social aspects, rather than the actual construction. It would be nice to see how much of the OLE has been energised and to see the tram-trains at speed.
When you looked around the boardwalk, was there any sign of Ianto's (of Torchwood) memorabilia?
Iantos Shrine is still there, people keep adding bits and it has a plaque now. There is wiring in place from Pontypridd down to Cardiff and round the City Line. Trams are testing late at night. If look up Realtime Trains for Taffs Well on Detailed mode you can see them from about midnight onwards. Not sure when they will actually start daytime testing but it can't be long.
