I wanted to do this type of video for quite a while now. No fancy effects and animations, just me talking to you and explaining a certain topic. For me it was really refreshing to not care about audience retention and fast paced content with as much information in as little time as possible. Did you still like it? And should I do more of this on other topics where this style fits?
Yes! this is lots better than the overproduced yawns.
I found this very helpful, especially when you mentioned that you shouldn't decelerate on the shot and trust the stroke. Even if it's not the topic of the video, that's exactly the mistake I would probably make on that type of shot so it's nice to get your feedback on what you feel before taking a shot.
Thanks!
@@stefanvoda2602 yes. that perfect -throw- of the cuestick. it's a dart. do it and relax, right?
I think they are both fantastic in their own right. You should continue in w/e manner feels true to you bro - God bless, Jesus loves you.
I, personally, prefer this type of video.
Wonderful job. I learned a bunch. Thank you
In the world of marksmanship, there is a popular phrase - “aim small, miss small.”
This applies in pool as well and it's cool to see you utilizing that philosophy and teaching it
I love this
than you are a fool, he is about making money on your behalf.
Great video
I truly believe that you have the best pool Utube videos. Please never stop. In the early 2000's I was a 7 in the A.P.A. I only played pool a handful of times in 15 years. Rejoined the A.P.A. and they put me at a 6. After a couple months I am now a 5. For one I never would have thought they would ever reduce the pocket sizes with these Diamond tables. Next it took me all this time to realize that I have been also using a stick my step dad gave me. And I never thought to measure the diameter of the tip. It has a 11 mm tip! Almost a Snooker tip. Besides getting a 13mm tip, not hitting the cue as hard and practice. Is there any other recommendations that you can think of to give me?
Thanks my guy
not everyone has Dimond table
@@georgedardonis5954 I don't have a table period my guy ✌
Something this immediately reinforced for me is maintaining the correct side of the object ball where you can keep kicking the cue off the long rails to get the cue in place for the next shot. I find in run outs that aren't this obvious I don't set a specific enough target area and sort of relax into a "as long as you can make your next ball it's fine" sort of mentality, but if you end up on the wrong side you either need to use a ton of backspin or follow and rely on some 2-3 rail sort of set up for the next shot. That's a great drill overall, and probably tougher than meets the eye.
Been watching your videos for long time now first l need to get myself a pool board
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
I think you do have a massive influence of how to really play pools correctly lots of tips are really useful especially for those who are into this game
Tried this today. I could get max three balls before either I missed or my placement was trash. So much harder than it looks but it's clearly amazing practice.
Same for me too. But i realize when i do that practice for two or three weeks it raises automatically my game.
These are some of my favorite shots to play and I completely agree with you on what you're saying except for one minor detail. Is this really "natural position" when you're manipulating the cueball to go where you want. With that said, I would play these shots exactly the way you are, but I didn't think that was "natural shape". Anyways, I love your content and really appreciate the time you put into providing such great production value.
So for me the most important part I got from this is that you are using a stun shot as your basis. First see what stun does. That's the low hit. If you need more angle, open the up with outside.
I'm assuming that how low/hard you hit is so that you accomplish stun considering how far away you are And how for to travel afterwards.
So to correct the ob path for the outside spin. Aim a little thin? What kind of english are you using back/front/blend?
I get a bit mixed up if I aim to compensate, then move cue for english, then am left with what am I actually aiming for now that the cue is angled.
@Sharivari One question, did you make the markers on the rail yourself, or did you order them from somewhere? Thanks in advance, great vid.
Search for KAMUI "Diamond Slicer".
Hello! The top of your rail has what appears to be tape that shows all the increments between the diamonds. Could you tell me what it is called and where I could purchase it? Thanks LLoyd
Sure. They are called KAMUI "Diamond Slicer".
Just the right amount of dissection ~Since mostly, the technicalities are all subjective from rack to rack, and like Reyes says, "I got lucky."
Hey Sharivari! I've started watching your videos and became hooked up with pool, naturally i want to get better at it too. I just wanna know any pool gloves you recommend, preferablly under $30. My hands are supper sticky and can't seem to shoot as smooth as other people do.
I like KAMUI. But if you want to get a cheap one that is still good you could try "Felice".
@@Sharivari Thank you for recommending :)
What kamui tip is the best using soft or medium?
There is no such thing as the best, it depends on your cue and your preference. But I am using KAMUI Brown Medium for years now and I am really happy with it.
Huhu. Hast du schon das Giveaway vor nem Monat aufgelöst? Ich hab nichts gefunden in deinen letzten videos
LG :)
Hallo, nein noch nicht. Kommt aber sicher im Mai!
May I ask about your table size and room size?
The line coming off the rail from the 2 ball clicked with me. Normally I complicate it too much. the rail contact is a given and just need to control the line out of the rail.
Exactly!
some time I often see you use the mezz avant more often than the ec9 does performance avant cue better?
I like both equally. I am currently using the Avant when playing tournaments.
@@Sharivari ooo ok, for the last question of the many ec9 variants why choose the cmn2 type?
@@ivandp2341 Because of the look.
@@Sharivari hahaha I agree it looks very elegant, thank you for answering.
i don't know why am i almost always missing when use a lot of english, did you have any solution how to use spin and where did you aim when you use a lot of spin please? thanks.
If you're hitting right or left of center, then you may be throwing the cue ball off of the straight line you are aiming thru. The harder you hit, the more the cue ball is thrown off that line
czcams.com/video/h_x1XPqVBIM/video.html
that's the problem, i was aiming at straight line and i move my cue to use spin but the problem is the cue ball is not moving straight then i miss by inch

What size is your table?

I understand the drill and the purpose but where is the SECRET? hmmm
His 4 ball being orangish, really threw me off
The thing is , that you make it so easy on your table, how about on a bar table, this does not work. Stop sending us false information, explain it the way it should be.
Pool is easy enough that I DON'T need a CZcams video "how to" for me. Play the game, figure it out on your own.
You commenting this on a pool "how to" video tells me you arent as good as you think you are lol
@Tyler Young you'd be soo wrong my lil' friend. Like I said, I don't need YT drills to play or learn how to shoot draw, spin, throw, bank, or kick shots. But it did make me 😃 thxs.
Thanks!
Thank you so much Dan, I really appreciate it!
