- At this price point, even a year on from release, I have yet to find another projector that matches the features and image quality offered by XGIMI Aura. It’s not without faults-color purists may not be happy with the default profile and may find the adjustments limited. But for most people, especially those who want to do some gaming on their cinema screen, it represents fantastic value for money. For gamers who want the ultimate immersion, this is the best laser TV yet.

Great review . Wich one do you recommend: Xgimi Aura or Hisense xp1 pro. Contrast is very important to me.

Yes I would concur this is the best review I've seen. Admittedly this particular brand wasn't my first choice but that's one thousand more. More than I want to pay for what I need so this is my new front runner. Budget of three grand so that leaves me about 800 for a screen. An equivalent OLED panel at 100 inch is about eight thousand. No brainer. Great review 👏🏾

I brought mine a few months ago I have a projector screen but when I put it in the wall I get a wobbly picture so purchased another floor standing screen and still wobbly picture. Does the surface have to be totally flat? With my old led projector I don't get this and it's fine. I only have this problem with the Aura. Hope you and give me some advice. @@MrKnightlore they are picking it up from my address and giving me another although a refurbished model when it should be a brand new one.

@@MrKnightlore yes definitely just waiting for them pick this one up via DPD and they will send the other one out I think I got videos on my phone of what I mean as Xgimi told me to do a few videos so send them so they could see.
what do you think is the maximum ideal size for broadcasting video? How much does broadcasting on an ordinary white wall spoil the picture compared to an adequate screen?
There is no maximum ideal. It's a combination of ambient light levels, comfort levels etc.
I use chalk paint, which doesn't cause hotspots. I prefer it to a screen. Regular white shiny wall paint wouldn't be great, with strong reflections.

I use this - organicnaturalpaint.co.uk/shop/natural-chalk-paint-eco-mineral-interior-wall-paint-auro-326/ - mainly because it's a really old house and the walls need to breathe. It goes on almost translucent, then after a few weeks it's chemically transformed into white. Kinda weird stuff, actually.

Is this for 3D movies or not
I bought mine a year ago and it seems that the lamp life has been reduced by 5000 hours on the new model
20,000-25,000 is only an estimate, so I wouldn't read too much into that.
These projectors are rubbish. Mine lasted 5 months and then the lazer failed. Cost me $200 to send it for repair in Hong Kong, still waiting for its return after 2 months. Don't Buy. 😢
