Troye Sivan Mellet, or better known as Troye Sivan, is a South African-born CZcamsr, actor, model and singer. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on June 5th, 1995, and at the age of two, he moved with his family to Perth, Australia. As an actor, he was well known for playing the role of the young James Howlett (the young Wolverine) in the movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009).
Sivan's musical career started when he sang at the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Channel Seven Perth Telethon. One of his performances in 2006 included a duet with Australian Idol winner, Guy Sebastian. In 2007, he made it into the finals of StarSearch 2007, and in that same year, he released his debut EP album entitled "Dare To Dream". In 2009, he released a song entitled "For Them" to raise awareness of homeless children. Eventually, Sivan was signed to EMI Australia, a Universal Music Australia label on June 5th, 2013. Up until today, he has released 2 full-length albums and has released several noteworthy singles like "Youth", "There For You" (with Martin Garrix), "I'm So Tired" (with Lauv) and "Angel Baby".
"Angel Baby" is one of his recent singles released on September 10th, 2021 and this song is the lead single from Sivan's upcoming 3rd studio album. Initially, I didn't like this song after my first few listens, but after listening to it repeatedly, this song grew on me and I began to like this song very much. I like this song very much because of it's sentimental and meaningful lyrics. A lot of love and romance were expressed by Sivan
Lately, I've also been keeping in touch with MrChillax and I've expressed my interest in working on a song with him, and I suggested the song "Angel Baby", since it was my recent favorite song. He then agreed to work on it with me. Not long after that, he managed to come out with his piano rendition of this song with some reharmonization, and he sent it over to me as a sample for me to have a listen. I was so amazed by his brilliant arrangement of this song & his musical ideas. Following that, I decided to continue to work on this piano cover while incorporating MrChillax's ideas. While I was working on it, I also had some additional reharmonization ideas of my own, and I let him know about my ideas by sending snippets of my arrangement to him. He has given some constructive comments about my ideas, and then, I continued to work on this piano cover. After some time, I managed to come out with this piano arrangement, which is a blend of MrChillax & my musical ideas. MrChillax may not be in the video, but he has been part of this project from the very start. Without him, this piano cover wouldn't come into existence.
