This matchups crazy. Akuma has so much mobility and options but Giefs throws annihilate Akuma.

Akuma might be getting old and not as durable. in sf5 his body was much bigger then Ryu but in sf6 he has shrunk a bit and is shorter then Ryu now

Akuma is really about execution because Akuma can get 2 touch with his low health. If teleport was phase through then Akuma would have better defensive tool to evade or switch side.
Normal Grabs looks nasty in this game, it should have been zangief doing command grab but its the opposite. No early warnings of grabs.
It's almost like SF is entirely balanced around the concept of "strike/throw"
Yeah in the end you just gotta try to read the other player. Kakeru started understanding how itazan played halfway through this video and you could tell cos he kept backing away just as itazan tried to command grab/throw, and punished him heavily

@@friedzombie4 Akuma is not stupid strong. He's been nerfed quite alot since his debut in Street Fighter 2 Turbo. To appease the weak players who demand "balance", they made a character able to get dizzy. You're talking about a character can split a Submarine and Australia's largest rock in half, not some Russian Wrestler who claims to be almighty but can not match Akuma's abilities even if he tried. Heck, Zangief should atleast enter the Tekken franchise to humiliate himself.
