    The Queen of Denmark is a very gracious Lady, as are all the European monarchs. When one looks at the candidates for the US Presidency, thank God we still have a King or Queen as Head of State in several European countries.

    Denmark gives openness to the world -- to muslims -- and they want to try and make it into the countries they're leaving. Just because Danes are white does not mean they're not worth protecting their rights and culture. God bless Denmark forever and always.

    @BritishTrekkie952 Most Danish schools teach British, as links to Britain were very close until the end of the 90s, when our PMs started thinking more highly about the US.
    Hers is a very good imitation, yes, but her intonation patterns are somewhat Danish. Supposedly, her French is impeccable, which is not difficult to imagine with a Frenchman for a husband.

    @Lindshm. I agree Monarchs should be head of state and not politicians. I too would pay more taxes to keep the monarchy. I lost my country due to politicians. I think the Denmark Monarchy are wonderful. Having watched the video of the wedding of HRH Frederik to Mary Donaldson, though in the old days commoners did not marry Royals, seems to have changed a lot now. I think they are well matched couple. God Bless to them.

      So she has been on the Throne for a long time and has the same accent while speaking English

    You should be more embarressed about your spelling. I'm a fan of Margrethe II. She seems to be a nice lady, if a bit stiff. It would be funny if she was packing since she insists on even carrying that darn purse to a press conference outside on the patio!

    RedSeaCoral,
    No, I would not support a call for the destruction of a people.
    However if you had a wellfounded point that would insult black people (can't think of one) I'd still support the right to say it.
    Muslims have the same free speach rights as non-muslims but that does not mean everybody has to agree with you.

  • @RedSeaCoral
    @RedSeaCoral Před 14 lety +2

    as much as i love and admire denmark and its great system of social security, i have disagree with this matter entirely. freedom of speach is a good thing, but when takenout of proportion to the point of insulting and degrading a religion, any religion, it passes the point of civility and becomes bigotry.
    the quuen should know better than to say "oh well we should be able to say whatever we want", along with freedom of speach there's something called respect and decensy too.

    • @gnawershreth
      @gnawershreth Před 5 lety +3

      I really hope you've become wiser over the last 9 years because that's some absolutely BS you've left there.
      Freedom of speech is all about protecting unpopular speech, popular speech needs no protection at all. Provocative speech, critical speech, "blasphemous" (which is a nonsensical concept anyway) speech etc. is what needs protection.
      If you back down there, you just have no freedom of speech left at all.

  • @RedSeaCoral
    @RedSeaCoral Před 14 lety

    no one asked the queen of denmark to agree with muslims, only that she and other like minded people show common courtesy and respect, whats the point of mindlessly insulting people?
    and no, insult NEVER has a "wellfounded notion" its pure ignorance and bigotry. everyone and anyone with the smallest amount of reason can figure that out.
