- Tommy and Yvonne have been married for 43 years when Tommy was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in 2013. 'He's my first boyfriend, my soulmate, my rock...he's the love of my life.'
Oesophageal cancer is cancer that occurs in the oesophagus - a long, hollow tube that runs from your throat to your stomach.
Tommy has terminal T4 cancer, but he doesn't let that stop him from getting involved in fundraising and spending time with his grandchildren.
'Cancer does not define my husband.'

Hi, I too have esophageal cancer Stage 4. No symptoms, until I had a upset stomach for about a mouth. I went and got a endoscopy and doctor said there a mass, probably cancer! This April 22, 2021.
Surgery is not an option, as the risk is higher than the results. One victor described it as a "morbid" and painful recovery. A doctor from Mayo clinic also gave me the same answer.
DONTWEVER TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTEDthe smallest thing as taking a sip of water.
Go get checked if anything first feel normal. I was stage IV when it was discovered, as it was also in my lung.
I'll fight until the end, I believe in my L and savior and Lord
It's been over a year and a half, and Praise God I'm still here. My wife is my rock, she's always been with me.Quit her job to take care of me.
