How do you use it for face? You put moisturizer before that?
@@Yotakirocky100 if you haven’t used retinoids before it’s not a bad idea to put moisturizer on first to try and help/prevent irritation. I do find this particular product very gentile though so I’ve never had any problems with irritation but everyone’s skin is different 💜
Hi! I just bought my BOJ retinal eye serum, may I know how much do u apply for whole face including neck?
@@CarmVallejo-jk8oj I typically do 2-3 little pumps for my face and one more just for my neck. On my face I’ll put some dots on all the areas I want to cover then gently work it into my skin 😊

Can I use the ordinary retinol in Squalane in the same routine during the night ? And during day I day can I use argireline and matrixyl in the same routine?

Hi! I have been thinking about buying this product.I wonder how am I going to incorporate this in my routine.Here are the products that I use,and I do not mix the acids in one routine.
-Cleanser: COSRX Low PH
-Essence:Nature Republic Bulgarian Rose
-Vit.C: COSRX Vitamin C 23 serum
-Hyaluronic: Neutrogena Hydroboost
-Moisturizer: COSRX Oil-free mositurizer

I think just in the night routine, because of the retinal. The same as retinol.
Can I apply this after salicylic acid serum and hyaluronic acid serum.
If you do not use the SA serum on the eye contour, then the answer is yes.

Hi I have dry, acne-prone skin with slight dark spots and this is my skincare daily:
Cleanser: BOJ green plum cleanser
Toner: Green Plum toner
Toner/Essence: BOJ Essence water
Serums: BOJ green tea serum and BOJ
Serum: BOJ Light on Serum
green tea serum
Moisturizer: BOJ dynasty cream
Sunscreen: BOJ Sunscreen
Same thing for night but the only thing I change is no sunscreen and I will use the BOJ revive serum all over my face after I did my skincare. Is there anything I should switch or do?

@@deishnialiecolon7011 Well, you did not mention in your routine that you were using the Retinal. If your skin tolerates the combination, keep on using them together. However, if you experience sensitivities, especially when using the Retinal all over your face, use the toner and Retinal on alternate days in the evening. However, I also recommend looking into the root cause of your acne such as sleep, stress, mental health issues, environmental factors (air and water quality, washing detergent, etc.), or your diet (such as consuming too much added sugar, processed food, fast food, or any food intolerances/allergies like bread, milk, chicken, eggs, etc.).
Can we apply vitamin c serum after applying eye cream?? And I'm a beginner so in what time i should apply eye cream??

For wrinkles, yes. However, for dark circles, it really depends on what's causing them in the first place, such as food intolerance, lack of sleep, dehydration, etc. If they're triggered by such factors, it's important to address them.

Why is everyone mentioning their age and asking if they can use? Is there any crrtain age limits??
There is some misinformation circulating that retinol or retinal products cannot be used at younger ages, but this is incorrect. It really depends on your personal skin concerns. However, if you are under 12, there is hardly any research on this, so in that case, it would be best to consult a doctor.

I find this doesn’t dry fast enough and I feel it gets to my eyelashes and then my eye maybe I am crazy tho jaja I do think that maybe I need to use less amount of
If that's the case, avoid bringing it too close to the lower lashes, and yes, it's fine to use less so that it absorbs faster :)

Hey, I'm just getting started on my retinoid journey, do you think one should get used to retinol before going on this retinal because i heard this boj retinal is a gentle one and can be applied to the whole face?
No, from my experience, it doesn't work that way. It's more about choosing the right strength and formulation for your specific needs. However, the concentration of BOJ retinal eye serum is low, so you shouldn't have any issues with that one, apart from a bit of dryness.

Why you not applying it on ur eyelid?
Because it is not meant to be used there, so, Retinol, Retinal, or Retinoids should not be used on the eyelids as the skin there is very thin and sensitive, making it more prone to irritation and damage from these potent substances.

No, because it's retinal, which is similar to retinol. Using it can lead to severe irritation over time. It can dry out the eyelids and cause sensitivities and irritation.

@@kangnatakesmed Thin undereye skin is normal, and dark circles often result from a lack of sleep, genetics, or certain foods you eat. So, you don't need a serum for that :) Perhaps just a change in sleeping habits and diet would help.

What's the underlying cause of your dark circles? Is it stress, dehydration, lack of sleep, or food intolerance/allergies? In that case, I recommend improving these factors to reduce your dark circles. However, if they are caused by hollowness or genetics, there isn't much you can do other than using a bit of concealer.

Just use a bit of concealer to brighten the under-eye area. However, if it's due to stress, lack of sleep, or a 'wrong' diet, such as if you do not tolerate something you eat, I recommend looking into that, as these can also be potential factors as to why you have dark circles.

Yes, it contains Ceramides. I personally like it a lot as it's quite lightweight. However, if you're concerned about that ingredient, it may be best to avoid using it! 😊

@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial mainly anti aging. after a while of trying various products i realised that actives are not helping me long term. so i fixed my routine now its just an oil cleanser, 2 hydrating toners and adapalene. i am keeping up with your research and updates so im not big on sunscreen either when im sure i wont expose myself in direct sun for hours. im drinking more water, trying sleep well and maintain good gut health. that only leaves me with taking care of my eyes and this cream came out as one of the good ones thats not too pricey for me. if anything i might add a vitamic c essence (melano cc) just only on the stubborn dark spots. the weather is brutal here the heat is making my skin oily and dry at the same time so i may get a gel moisturizer (probably the red bean gel one from boj) if i really need it. thats why i feel like including one eye cream that takes care of anti aging will complete my routine with or without vit c or a moisturizer.
@@clementinewhy Ok, yes, that's fine. As mentioned, I really like the BOJ retinal eye serum (which you can also use over the whole face - so maybe instead of Adapalene). However, I also like Olay's Retinol cream, which can be used only for the eyes or the entire face - this way, you get more product. Yes, stress, sleep, and diet play an important role. Basically, cook and eat as fresh as you can! I've completely stopped eating anything sugary, and I stopped eating fruits (juices are the worst). I mainly eat vegetables, fish, cheese, and nuts - and I drink water and black coffee! :)
