I think it doesn’t happen because odds are the Jets are given a better package than Barron being the key piece.
barron is very underrated. look at the goals he scored while on the third pair an barely any pp time. id give back the jets 1st round puck and barron and offer that. essentially two late firsts for mid round first.
This trade will NEVER happen!!!!
In what world does trading a 14th overall pic whose stock has risin dramatically for a 26th pic + a throw away like Barron make any sense??
It doesn't
Barron could still become a very good defensemen. He’s got good size, skating and offensive upside. I’d prefer the Habs keep him unless they get a very good prospect.
Ok, what about Rutger McGroarty?
@@kevinpelletierdeslauriers7709 Don't know him but If he's good I'm ok with it. I just don't want Barron trade for cheap.
And we need to flip defense for offense.
How many do you keep? How many can you keep? It's time to make some tough decisions.
@@francoisbouvier7861 we don’t have that many good defense on the right side. Mailloux is not a sure thing. Savard is on his way out I think. Reinbacher is probably years away.
I’d do this in a heartbeat
Keep Savard for another 2-3 years as the Dad on the team pairing alongside Hutson
Reinbacher, Mailloux, Bogdan in the system Kovacevic is also solid depth.
Matheson and Harris next to go
The trade makes sense but I think Kent Hughes would have to add a cherry to the sundae, say their 2nd first round pick.
That could be an overpay!
@@Davidov956 Rutger's a beast ... Slafkovski's twin ... they're actually both born on the same day.
Why do you make videos on a fan making a damn trade proposal. It's dumb
Justin Baron and Philip Mesar vs
Baron and give them back their 1st rounder
MCGROARTY !!! upside ---- playing wise yes.
Attitude - hmmmmmmmm !!
Hasn't played one game in the NHL and dictating (pretty well) that he wants to be assured a top 6 forward position or he's taking his ball and bat home !!
Jets (as many other teams) have already had experience with players that think they are "IT".
Hopefully Jets will send him and his "Ugh" attitude on its way.
it would have to be baron and the 26th over all pick at least
Barron and they get back their 26th pick and it's a deal.
Barron and a 2nd, perhaps lower tier prospect. Clear some room for a European and NCAA free agent. Winnipeg bites, who knows.
I`d rather get WIFI and a 25-26 first, winnipeg has no stones on D, if Brendan Dylan leaves, unless Logan Stanley gets unleashed, too many Sweedeheart puck movers
Nope. Well. Maybe if you throw in Ehlers.
@@komirules I Waant ehlers to stay in wpg, hes a zone entry GOAT
Wifi is not getting traded tho
I'm sure McGroarty will be happy to play for Montreal. There is a vacant top 6 or top 9 spot to be earned. He will be given top 9 spot from get go and it's up to him keep the spot. I would do this trade, something like Barron + late 1st + another B prospect (Heineman as sweeter) for McGroarty. I think it is a package Jets can't refuse.
make a joshua vid! he signed!
Barron and the 24th
Keep American players in America!! Canadian teams draft Canadian players and European players let the Americans stay in America..
Holy F* I’m excited
Click bait
Theyre having problems retaining players in Winnipeg.... just going to cause problems later on
Not happening
Cheveldaoff is a tough customer
Barron? 😅 MTL not in the mix
He didn’t want to play in Winnipeg you think he’s going to want to play in Montreal? He would never report and just stay in school and play where he wants as a UFA in 2 summers.
He didn't want to play in Winnipeg because of how he was treated, he did not say anything about wanting to leave because it's a Canadian Market
@@davidjameschartrand1362 not many NHL players want to play in Canada and especially American kids. Montreal , Ottawa and Winnipeg especially. Imagine being told to waste your time and learn French. No thanks.
@@vernonhowell4070
🤦♂️75% of the Habs can’t speak French😂
Montreal > Winnipeg
@@vernonhowell4070Toronto , Ottawa Winnipeg
No thanks, Keep the whiner where he is. Don't want guys on the team that whine about when and where they will play.
