Today you will see 3 Cafe Racers in this video.
The Suzuki GS 750, the Honda CB 550 and also a pic of a Honda CX 500.
3 different bikes, in which we can learn different approaches on the design.
All bike were built by Lukas and Sylwester, from Eastern Spirit Garage in Poland.

As a professional designer, i'm not a fan of divine numbers, but i do believe in flowing lines, and things transitioning gracefully from one element to the next within an overall theme or line, or indeed, stopping and starting again. I think you're right in identifying the fuel tank as the "issue" between the GS+CB and the CX500. In both the GS and the CB the line of the fuel tank keeps climbing to the front, on the CX the high point of the fuel tank is at the back and it dives downwards to the front. The CX fuel tank sets up a break between tank and headlight and not a continuation. In my biased view.

Great bikes and great video.
Tha black paint has become like a business card for many cafe racer projects but in this case creates personality and character that we like, I talk about the Suzuki GS 750. A motorcicle that perhaps in other hands would have been nothing but a common place instead in this case highlights an sport and aggresive yet elegant machine. Saludos and sorry for being so late. Today I drove my car for the very first time since the accident :)

Ah! Real, authentic café machines! And of a rare purity. It would be interesting to know whether Lukas and Sylwester consciously applied the Divine Proportion to their projects, or whether their eye led them to it. But either way, Racer, these bikes demonstrate the power of your design principles.

Love what they did with the GS750, I used to have one back in the day! I really loved the CX500, Kinda of a poor man's Moto Guzzi, haha! I just love that V twin arrangement! Would be a shame to hide a beautiful engine like that under a fairing! Great presentation as usual!

Pessoalmente acho as super cafe racers como a do Giulio Paz e outras hi tech deste canal absolutamente impressionantes e arrebatadoras.. Mas quando vejo um projeto purista e clássico como esse, não sei exatamente porque, meu coração bate mais forte.. talvez pela absurda sofisticação e elegância agregada ao design. Acredito que, se dinheiro não fosse problema, encomendaria à este designer polonês minha cafe racer : Gostaria de ver o que ele faria com uma honda CBx 1000 vintage, um escape de cada lado em uma racer musculosa e muito robusta. Brilhante observação da ´´proporção divina``.. Parabéns.

Definitely the GS750, only wish mine had come from the factory like that in British Racing green. I would have added a small bikini fairing from my friend Bertrand at La Parisienne.

Would you use 3D CAD for designing a cafe racer, or something more focused on graphic/artistic design?
Thanks. I drew my bike with AutoCAD 2006, and the renderings were
made in 3D Studio MAX 2008 using Vray plug-in. This was the most complex
drawing i ever made. I don't recommend. Too many hours of work. I think
Photoshop is still the best path to get a good vision of a cafe racer

Great video. Here's a suggestion for you, though, if you don't mind my advice: British accent should go with British vocabulary rather than American, like "petrol tank" instead of "gas tank," for example. Other than that, everything's very good. Keep up the good work.

Hi. I have a Suzuki GS 850 from 1981 that I have converted into a coffee racer. I installed conical filters in the air intake and had serious problems of mixing and carburization, which results in loss of power to the engine. I could help with some tips on what I should do. Thanks and greetings from Chile
Be careful with the conical filters. Do you have any tubes between the filters and the carburetors?
RACER TV No my friend..... I don't have any tube betwen the filters and carb's.
In that case, check if the filter walls are blocking the small holes inside the carburetor located around the inner rear end.

Sorry friend, but my only advice is re-eject the carburetors with bigger jetting. Try to discover the ideal jets configuration in some foruns about the Suzuki GS 850 . Good luck. Saludos.

Gor, lose the robot narrator. Great pics, tho.
Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds realy very good for to non-English natives.
