Lily (Yvonne De Carlo) is out shopping for not one, but two new cars.
A family of friendly monsters having misadventures and never quite understanding why people react to them so strangely.
#TheMunsters #Comedy #Classictv - Zábava
Now watching this at 52 instead of being an 8 year old i realize Yvonne De Carlo was one of the most gorgeous actresses. Wow
She's 100
As a Kid I thought Marilyn had the looks as an Adult Lily had the glamour.
She's absolutely gorgeous 😍
Always liked that show, nothing like the filth we have now.
Yes, she was hot.
A smoking hot wife and she buys you a super cool car. Herman had it made
I still love her
Plus he had monster strength.
Two cars too
what a prize, a reverse Gold digger.
Jerry Lopez He married well.
Even dressed up like a Halloween character.... Yvonne De Carlo was a ravaging beauty and a great actress . I remember her from the Ten Commandments .
Ravishing too.
i loved her on that movie! 💕💕
I just Googled images...WOW! What a stunner!
For a family of monsters they have good family values & Herman & lily will always be a lovey dovey couple.
Same with the Adams.
He was a navy man...
It's before dysfunctional families
To bad there are no more shows like this.
*Too
They lost the man , they lost the art...
Check what we do in the shadows
What we do in the Shadows is the Modern Munsters or Addams Family. It’s hilarious.
Yeah, Hollywood has gone down the toilet.
Between Lilly, Morticia, Mariannes shorts and Ellie Maes form fitting blouses my little pre teenage mind went into overload.... 😂
You forgot Jeanine in her Genie outfit
@Gene Johnson Those didnt show up for another 12-18 years.
Wanted to see the car, would be disappointed but any time get to watch Lily Munster is never a disappointment.
czcams.com/video/5sfPanle3oc/video.html
If you were around when the Munsters were on TV, you would know how the car looked. Sort of a soup up jalopy minus the top.
I've seen it before.. On the sow, movie, cartoon, severL other shows. I had 2 different toys of it as kid. Just saw title and looked forward to the moment of reveal.
Found the vid with reveal to Herman.
@@marcelmoreau2733 DITTO! 🤬
Well said Marcel,Lilly rocks!👌
Yvonne deCarlo- stunning!
Absolutely
Loved her in McClintock.
Yes.indeed
Just beautiful, I wish she breathed air
The car is also stunning!
The writers of the these episodes were brilliant. To bad this talent doesn't exist anymore
For sure
Sadly, people want crappy reality shows instead.
People would find something racist about this show surprised it hasn't been attacked yet
*Too
The talent is out there, it’s just not being utilized
Always loved the Munsters Koach. One of the best creations of George Barris and his team
George Barris designed all those old Hot Rods and classic cars for the show, he did some amazing work with what they had then.. I believe he did the Batmobile and the Green Hornet Imperial
Yes sir! That was back when they didn’t have body fillers and high build primers. It was all lead brazing, lacquer primes and lacquer paints. Amazing what they could do with that! ✨✨✨
The bat mobile started as a concept car and was built by ford.. barris bought it and reworked it into the bat mobile
Black Beauty!!!
He took credit for the Batmobile because it was built in his shop (he was a con man who did that a lot) Bill Cushenberry built the Batmobile, and Dean Jefferies built the Monkeemobile
@brianjschumer George Barris also did the General Lee for the Dukes of Hazzard.
I'll take every car on that lot for the prices on the windshields.
Even if they didn't run, they are bargains compared to today's prices!!
Me too
Could get more in scrap fees for them now then prices on display.
YEA. !!!!! Boss....god the deals..lets go partners on the whole lot..
@@BigLisaFan What makes you think that the cars on these gypsy lots TODAY run? LOL
Someone actually gave the Munsters a thumbs down??? There's proof that there's at least one sicko in every bunch!
That would be the Demorat with the thumb down.
I agree she was. That show should've lasted at least 7 years
Thumbs down towards the end! Wanted to see the car and Herman's reaction.
No doubt!
thumbs down from me, they didn't show Herman getting the car.
Lily is honestly goals! She's so elegant in how she moves and speaks, yet there's a fire to her!
Yummy 😋
What is goals?
@@gizzyguzzi maybe ghouls 😐 idk? Either lol
@@jig88 *sprays water on you*
@@cottagecorevampire I'm melting.
They must have felt so silly doing a show like this, but it certainly earned them a place in TV history!
The show really was witty more than silly. With its horror puns and also the family’s overall chemistry to be normal and thought everyone else was just crazy when scared by them or clueless to why people runaway is hilarious
Love that series. They don't make good sitcoms anymore.
you are right, i have The Munsters on DVD
And there will never be a good sitcom again until the "woke" morons controlling sports and entertainment are all fired.
@@KowboyUSA So true!
30Rock was the last good sitcom.
(or Music!
Yvonne DeCarlo was FINE AF!!!
I loved that tv show. They don't make them this good anymore
“Turned in yesterday by a California minister.” Lol!
Everyone is talking about seeing the Munster Coach. But what I would LOVE to have is that 1937 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 V12 5 passenger sedan Lilly arrives in. Few people know that this car was actually a maroon color, not black and that it was actually owned by one of the shows producers. It appeared in 2 episodes. The car still exists today and last sold about 9 years ago for over $100K.
Yeah that's awesome looking car but what were the other ones
@@richardharepax123 Well, the convertible was a 1964 Imperial. The hearse was an early 1930's Cunningham V8, the other one Lilly buys is a Ford Model T that was converted into a T-Bucket (I'm not sure of the age). The Limo way in the back is too far away for me to tell but it looks like a Cadillac. The same for the other car from the 1930's in the back. Too far away for me to tell.
@@retroguy9494 thanks I appreciate that I love the hearse and the hotrod
@@richardharepax123 I made a typo on the hearse. Its an early 1920's, not 30's Cunningham. Sometimes I type faster than my big fingers center over the keys! LOL!
That's a 34 Cheyenne Chrysler
Talk about a memorable segment. Pure comedy gold.
I love the Munster's!!!!!! I would run home from school to watch!!!🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤...... Herman and Grandpa are so great together!!!!!! Thank's for posting this!!!!! 🥀🥀🥀🥀.. 2022....
I’m so broke I can’t even afford 60’s prices. 😅
Me too, seems like jerks and scammers only get rich nowadays.
@@guddergo7116 Not for long , brother . Ps 37:10
I have to give Lily Munster her props. She has impeccable taste in automobiles. Well, her and George Barris that is.
I would SO love to travel back in time with a wallet full of cash to visit "Diamond Jim's" car lot!!
Tell me about it bruh! I have the money NOW and would buy most of the cars on that lot for the prices on those windshields!
You'd be arrested and sent to Fed prison using money dated in the 2000s
@@wileecoyote5749 It would be well worth buying period-correct currency from a coin collector shop.
The part I haven't worked out yet is the time machine!
@@jasonrodgers9063 Perhaps you should consult H G Wells
@Michael Black $795 for '32 Ford V8 Hot Rod heck ya! Still then minimum wage was maybe 75 ¢ an hour but a hamburger was 15 ¢ or so.
Everyone in the show was cast perfectly. Herman's head was cast in plaster.
But Herman's Head was a terrible TV show. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Hi Tech World haha! Yes it was I remember that show on fox! 🤣🤣🤣
Who are you?
@@mrtimo3822
Im....batman lol
Grandpa was my favourite character as he got the wittiest lines in the show.
Thank you for posting this video! The Munsters were wonderful...and yes, Lily was beautiful!
If I could go back. I would buy every car off the lot
These were badass shows, happy to know we can still find them
OMG, Lilly CREATED the Munster's iconic car!
Lily was something else! Great old cars!😁👍
I agree. All her movements were exaggerated and it worked‼️
When I was little, I didn't know that Lily's cloak was made from a coffin liner!
The Munsters family car was born!
Wait for the drag u la
Such a great show. It really reminds me of being a kid and watching this with my Dad. It’s way before my time but I love this show. Also Herman and Grandpa’s chemistry is so hilarious. I like how they get crazy ideas and just run with them lol
The dollar would buy a lot more back then. I remember my Dad complaining about the burger joint increasing the price of a hamburger from 10 cents to 15 cents and 25 cent milkshakes.
Regardless of the actual numbers involved, 50% all at once is a pretty steep price increase.
I remember my parents talking about how gas prices kept going up. "at this rate, it might hit a dollar a gallon!"
People were paid less back then.
@@MrWhoevr Here are some numbers to think about.
Minimum wage was $1.15 in 1964 (it's $7.25 an hour in 2020)
An inflation calculator says $12.00 in 1964 is equivalent to $100 today.
The Ford Mustang was introduced in the 2nd half of 1964, with a new sticker price of $2368.
xnetpc A house cost less then than what you pay for a car now.
I totally love how Lily just took over the process and created that stunning family roadster! As a kid that was one of my favorite episodes. I also loved the one when they created a race car out of a casket!
And 7800 bucks for that imperial convertible was a whole lot of cabbage back then!
Dragula was the coffin car. That and the Munster coach were designed by car legend George barris.
Yvonne looks awesome , such a beautiful woman
Yes she is, i love to see Yvonne in the opening of the second season of The Munsters.
Perfect
Yvonne DiCarlo was an absolute knockout. A "10" for sure.
Loved her in The 10 Commandments.
Sid Melton played a shady salesman in every TV show he was in. When I was a kid, my dad took us to Universal Studios for the tour before it became a commercial amusement park. It was great! We saw Al Lewis in his full Grandpa makeup. That was pretty cool.
Sid Melton: "Make Room For Daddy" , "Gomer Pyle", and my favorite; Alf Monroe on
"Green Acres". Also many guest roles.
This is one of my favorites episodes of The Munsters. And Lily Munster is such a classy lady.
Lilly was top 5 females in her prime. GORGEOUS creature! 👉👅👈
Yvonne D'Carlo is it! After 43 years, she still can stop me in my tracks. Forever in love, gratefully so. Be safe 🦊
Lily Munster walks into a dealership & buys two cars & asks for a custom body shop to combine both.
She's got the money.
In another episode they mention that Grandpa is Transylvanian royalty and was wealthy.
If these were modern times, she would have bought a demon dodge challenger and a Tesla Hearse, and then combined them.
Lily once said she came from royalty.
Lots of old money in her family.
No just Barris on her side
Her father is a count after all and lived for centuries
Lily was a hottie!
Yep. I would
Michael Feger Cool! I loved the Munsters, she was a excellent actor.
She was a famous Silver Screen actress back in the old days.
If you think lily was a hottie, you should see her when she was young, she was stunning.
Lily was a Motörhead.
She was hot in McClintock with John Wayne
Never realized that was her till now. Beautiful woman
And also the Ten Commandments she was hot
She wants a 2 stroke diesel! twin turbo! 8v53 detroit diesels in the hotrod!
The earliest film I've seen Yvonne De Carlo in was Criss Cross from 1949. She played the wife of a gangster and the ex-boyfriend of Burt Lancaster's character. When the gangster catches the two of them together, Lancaster's character invents a story on the spot about seeking the gangster's help in robbing his own armored car.
@@ronratcliffe2219 I was going to mention that one! Great movie!
Haha she got the hearse and the roadster. I love her.
Diamond Jim is played by Sid Melton who also played Salvador Petrillo in The Golden Girls.
Everything you need to know about being a good person could be learned from this show.
Everybody has an opinion, BUT how can there be dislikes if you clicked on The Munsters????
Those people, I think, voted for the rival "fueding" Addams family!!!
Actually that's just what some people do. They would give a thumbs down to Jesus walking on water. Now having said that that, they needed to show the finished product of the custom build. It's actually pretty cool.
@@BrotherNkosi Thumbs down people just do it to get a thrill...albeit a wasted one...
Carlos Carpinteyro I just couldn’t watch the Addams Family, not funny at all to me. I continuously laughed at the Munsters.
Robert Allen Grandpa needs to turn them all into bats.
Sid Melton saw Yvonne in the movies. He was great as Friendly Freddy in Gomer and Alf on Green Acres. These shows are just as great today as when I watched them as a kid when they aired. Not to mention Grandpa Al was in an episode of Gomer playing a hot headed husband whose wife had trouble driving new car.
I wish I could go to that car lot! Nice rides at reasonable prices!
If I hit the big lottery I always said one of the first thing I buy is the Munster car
Butch Patrick (Eddie) actually owns one of the Munstermobiles. He is on Utube, giving a ride to someone in it, you may want to look that up! I remember seeing the car at George Barris's Car Studio in North Hollywood.
You can have it bruh. I want the 1937 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 V12 5 passenger sedan that Lilly arrives in.
It was a running joke that the family was always looking for ways to bring in some extra income. But here we have Lily buying two cars and ordering a custom body job without a second thought. Must have been a good year for them.
Funny show I was born,in 1965, never heard of the show until repeats were shown, when I was 13, I’m addicted to The Munsters, too funny.
The first car he tried to sell her is a 64 Chrysler Imperial. I had one for about 10 years. Mine was a hard top. Really fun car.
The beautiful Lily asks for the two cars to be taken to a custom shop and in walks the incredible George Barris.
Still one of my favorite movie cars of all time!!
When I was a kid , they never showed the car either, lol.
THEY SHOWED THE FINISHED CAR PLENTY OF TIMES.
This was absolutely one of my favorite shows growing up. Thanks for the upload. More please. 🙏❤
The Munsters brought the rat-rod to the forefront with the show and started a new fad🔥❗
Not rat rod at all
Not quite . The Munsters show was from '64-'66 , so the Koach was/is a street rod or hot rod . The term 'rat rod' was coined much later , around the early '90s . Hot rods in the '30s-'50s , with an unfinished look , were called a 'gow job' , 'soup-up' or 'hop-up' . Kool , eh ?
I love how this episode ends with the family in the Koach & Eddie and his friend.
The funniest show on TV! Great memories!!
I still watch it every chance I get.
Esos si eran programas excelentes sin recurrir a lo vulgar o a las groserías, excelente programa.
Loved this show when i was a kid, i wish they would show reruns of it 👍.
They do... every day
First car looks like Tony Montanas in scarface.
She was on tour with uso..
Hollywood beauty entertaining troops...also a screen star...his question about seeing her on late night is a subtle clue to her real past
Diamond Jim broke the fourth wall.
this is one of my favorite episodes of The Munsters , Yvonne De Carlo was beautiful and I have a beautiful Model of the Munsters Koach.
Fun fact..Fred Gwynne couldn't drive a stick shift...he learned on the Munster Koach
The little aside about Lily's having been in the movies was an inside joke concerning Yvonne DeCarlo's Hollywood career -- a major supporting role in deMille's The Ten Commandments (1956) and other big-budget films, for ex. TV was a step down for her, and for some reason the writers chose to accentuate that.
I LOVED this show when I was a kid. It came on early in the morning on channel 11. I love Herman Munster. Seeing this brings back so many memories.
Those were the days. I have the Pilot episode on DVD. I'd forgotten how their ride came about. The guy responsible for making it made some pretty unusual and interesting cars including The Munsters Coffin Drag Car. Everything about The Munsters was a marvelous creation. 13 13 Mockingbird Lane the home of good ol American family values. Marilyn was the Rose in a garden of carnivorous plants. I'm 56 and so glad no one has tried to recreate this show.
Ahhhh...yeah right...🙄
Great episode with loads of cool cars! 👍👍👍
I love the munsters roadster and Lily too
They must have had the dough for her to buy two cars and have them combined to be customized like that. The Munster Coach was a George Barris beauty.
I couldn’t get enough of the vehicle in the show when I was a kid
He Sure Did. He's So Spoiled. I Like That He Works in A Mortuary. God Bless You And Keep Your Faith. 🙏
I never noticed before that she had the invicible man as her chauffeur driving to the joint.
"No, you were talking to my brother Diamond Irving" classic!!!!!!!
Yvonne DeCarlo, still hot.
She was a very pretty lady
@Joshy Presley My condolences.
Lily!!!! This is one of my favorite episodes ❤
Great show!!!!!!! Got much better after first year when they re-tooled it and made Herman really goofy. And that little "woof-woof" werewolf doll that Eddie carries around was so cool. I'm 56 and want one of those still...
As with the Munsters and many other great old TV shows, I get to watch them now in peace and enjoy, instead of worrying about homework as a kid.
I watched this as a kid with my dad im 22 he’s 60 now and we’re still watching ❤️
What we don't get to see the completed car???

I've always wanted to arrive at a Halloween bash in the Munster Koach.
One of the best parts of the Munsters was that it was filmed in black and white.
I love the reactions of the normal everyday characters when they see The Munsters.
GOOD STUFF!!!!! I LOVED THE MUNSTER'S!!!!!!
Love this origin story for the Munstermobile.
This is one of my favorite episodes when she goes to buy Herman a new car for his birthday and they make the monsters coach. I think it’s fantastic.😊
So this is how the Munster Koach came to be. I had no idea. I never saw this episode.
Now take these two cars and drop them off at George Barris shop, and we have a deal
Loved this show as kid , still do .
Yvonne DeCarlo was absolutely stunning!! I always loved this show!!
This show knows how to make people happy. They're too much. Every one of these actors did a super job how could they keep a sraight face. I would be laughing because the whole house and costumes was like cartoon but they never broke character
My favorite episode was when they found the Pirate treasure
Best part is when herman is counting steps and can't go past four.
Hollywood will never top the Munsters
Herman and Lily. A true love story. Reminds me of my dear ole mummy and pa.
