Use a pesticide sprayer, about $11 bucks. This is what my husband and I used and it worked out fine.
How long did it take you?

@panther782 We finished in one day. He sprayed, and I followed behind him with a paint roller.
Could you explain using a pesticide please? Do you mean you could paint the fence with pesticide??? Thank you

It’s held up pretty well actually! It survived the snow this winter and I don’t notice any major changes

Hi, this looks great! I am thinking of doing the same thing, as in, staining a dark gray with minimal to no prep work and I'm just wondering how yours held up over the past year and what type of climate you're in? I'm in the north east so we get snow, wind, rain, heat and humidity!
Hi! Thank you! I live in the midwest, so we experience all sorts of weather. The fence has held up great! Surprisingly, I haven't had to touch it up at all! Best of luck!
