We've come so far with light technology , back in the dark ages before LED, we used to gaffer tape torches to the front mudguard so we could get home in the dark . Impressive little gadgets . Cheers 🍻
Bahahaha yeah and back then sticking a 40w candle on ya bike would have been laughable 😬 LEDs are a great invention 👌
@@MVDBR your family to me.ty
Nice looking likes Josh... I think the T700 deserves them! 👍
Thanks Mark yeah I had to make it up to her after strapping that milk crate on the back the other day 😬
When they look bright on your camera then you know they are strong.Cheers.
That's it mate 🤙
Thank you from Newfoundland, on the Far East coast of Canada. Just installed aux lights on my Tenere, high beam activated and diode protected. You admit to not being an expert but you are spot on with the essentials. My wife also has a KTM 390 Adventure so we watch with great interest. Great job and thanks again!
Excellent stuff Wayne glad you got it sorted 👌 Thanks for the comment mate 🤙
That’s a huge difference Josh. For around $200 that’s quite a good safety investment especially when off road at night 👌
That's it mate, we try to not get caught in the dark but that's the nature of adventure 😁
The moment you flicked those Auxbeams on, I thought “worth every nickel”. That was impressive. I thought I noticed the nuts and bolts hardware looked stainless steel, could be wrong, not cheap. Lighting on my bikes have all been upgraded, I don’t mind the extra expense for obvious safety. 👍🏼
Yeah stainless fasteners 🤙 Yeah I kinda wasn't too fussed about putting aux lights on, till we started getting caught a fair distance from home in the dark, stock headlights just don't cut it especially for my old man eyes heh. Cheers mate
They are great, awesome for night riding, they make it a lot safer at night...
Yeah sure better than having nothing but the stocker headlight 😬 cheers mate
I also went through several multi-LED solutions before settling on Baja Designs S1 spot -- small, almost miniature, single-LED, extremely bright. Haven't looked back since.
Nice yeah there are some great products out there 👌
Bloody rippa mate 👍 there that bright you can see into next week 😅👍👍
Future's looking pretty bright Cliff haha 🤦♂ oh dear more dad jokes
Just up here in north central florida. Watching you on the big screen Josh I've got accessories coming in for my 22 icon blue T7 and stainless src crash bars from watching your videos plus brk busters n bash plate levers ect. Looks great the Auxbeam and bright. As always. You are my go to channel ty again. You and Nat ride safe ..
Dang you should have got a black one we could have been twinsies on different continents with all the same accessories hehe 🤙 cheers mate
@@MVDBR huge lol . you are awesome Josh. Believe me sometimes I wish I was in Australia because you got some beautiful riding area
@@mototechsam3051 yeah can't really complain! I've seen some good riding over in the states is there much in your area?
@@MVDBR I talk to you more than ANYONE on CZcams. You both are down to earth people. Family I'm my book😁
@@mototechsam3051 keepin' it real, Aussie style haha. I guess a lot of CZcamsrs have full-time day jobs as well which makes it hard to find time to reply to lots of comments. It does take up a lot of time!
Wow that’s a nice upgrade fkn bright 💡 now you’ll see skip before you feel him awesome vid cheers 🍺🍺👍👍
Hopefully see skip in time to avoid him hehe cheers J
Good stuff Josh, I wouldn't worry about a rock breaking them.Just run them. 👍🏻👍🏻
I probably do too much following bikes closely to get good footage, but yeah I was getting hammered with rocks from a DR650 on the weekend and they survived that hailstorm 😁💪
Mate those lights made a big difference, bloody awesome 🤙
They look similar to yours I noticed Paul, are you running the Denalis?
Yep love them if I have to ride at night, they are set up to run at 10% during the day with the normal light, helps to make you stand out, bloody expensive though and probably not much better than the ones you got
@@pjsmotoadventures ah I thought ya might have em running low power at times I figure that's what makes em flash like strobe lights on the GoPro 😬 Yeah as good as the T7 headlight is, it really don't cut the mustard compared to a good set of aux lights. Cheers mate 👍
You touched them with your hands after the P! 😂 they look awesome and make a huge difference to the factory lights 😁🤘🏼🍺
When ya gotta go, ya gotta go and ya might as well go on ya new lights 🤷♂ Lol cheers mate thanks for watching
👍awesome lights , well worth the money. Cheers.
👍 cheers mate
you're great at Math Bro! ahaha looks like a quality light and at the sub-$200 price point, it's quite a good deal and shines bright!
Me and my calculator are ok at math 😵
Geez they do the job hey! See those orbs coming now just before they ignite lol 👍
😅🔦🕷🔥
Hello Josh....WOW! those spot lights are Fkn mint! Thanks for sharing...David..Adelaide...Tiger 900GT
Hehe fkn mint! 🍃🤙
Personally I'm a big fan of the cyclops adventure 2inch lights. I really like how the light moves with the handle bar. Also the amber filters are simple to put on and off. Its like a rubber case and slides right on the light. The day time running light is supper bright. I will admit they are expensive but the quality is worth it. Cyclops
Adventure claims 4,000 lumens.
Yeah the Cyclops look the goods 👌
Wow what a difference 😲 I don't like to ride at night but sometimes it just happens and having those on board would definitely make it so much easier 👍 send me your cheap old ones 😉 I'll look after them for you 🤪
Lol I'm gonna try to stick em on a 390 but not yours unfortunately KZ 😘
@@MVDBR😂 damn
@@KayzeeMoto I hope it's not as complicated as the Yamaha 🙈
@@MVDBR I’m sure you’ll sort it out 😉
Sweet 😎👍
nice lights
🙏
tight bit of kit there Josh,
a HUGE improvement over just the weak ass headlight eh and good on AuxBeam for hooking you up!
might I also suggest another way to mount those bad boys....
afix them your helmut, much like Mickey Mouse ears eh,
they'd be up higher, and wherever you look, you'd light that area up AND it could be the start of a new trend,
X^D
have a beauty day brothers & sisters,
ride safe & ride often eh,
enjoy the gift of every day!
B^)
It would be fkn good to have the lights move with ya head! Could hang a disco ball off me handlebars too 😁 cheers sir Bu
@@MVDBR I like the way you think son 🤔strobe lights to dazzle the spiders 😉
🙏
Thanks for the video mate. Just wanted to know how close to you think the lights get on full suspension bottom out? Do you think it gets close enough to be a bit sketchy?
Yeah nah I measured all that, plenty of clearance 😎
nice one Josh , i still have to mount lights on the TTR (have in shed for months ) just havent found a spot to put them yet 😣🤔
that and i am lazy 😉😁
I find that if ya get caught in the dark enough times it's good inspiration to get it done! Stock lights are so often useless 😬
@@MVDBR i have replaced the globe to a led and have a darn good low beam but hi is not usable 😣 will have to just get down to shed and do it 😉🍺
@@jefftaswelder9154 yeah replacing the stock candle is a good start 😎 What's wrong with the hi beam?
@@MVDBR the light pattern is all wrong and light goes every ware but where it is ment to go 🤣😒
@@jefftaswelder9154 I have had that problem on several bikes. If it's adjusted so low beam is usable then the high beam is way to high. Adjust so the high beam is good and low beam gets out a 15 feet. Thought it was just me.
i like the ip joke haha, Cheers 4 sharing sir.
Hahaha so bad, so so bad 😅🤙
@@MVDBR so bad it was good
@@JustTex 😅🤦🏻♂️
Yeah boi
Wow they are good lights. Yes I guess same price difference between the two. But still look like daylight very good.
A set of similar Denali pod lights with harness will set ya back like $800 AUD plus an extra $83 if you want the optional amber lenses 😵 I'd be a bit worried about rocks hitting those lights lol, expensive replacement!
@@MVDBR oh yeah too damm right.think when get my KTM390 will try cheap first then maybe better lol. 🙂
@@guystevens162 I'm sticking those little 2" ones on the 390 they go pretty good for $40!
I ain’t gonna lick your ring I use Stedi lights from hoppers crossing but i dont get free shit just saying your videos are great
😯😯😯 fkn mint bro
💪💪💪
They are not fork mounts are they?
It didn't say anything about that on the product listing but hey they might just be the right size 🤔
I did check this out, they're a tiny bit too small to fit around the T7 forks but damn close!
Hi. Have you had any issues with the switch? I bought the lights for my Yamaha but I noticed the switch is not water proof.
I don't actually use the switch, I just have mine wired in to come on with the hi-beam 🤙
hello is it necessary to have so much power?
often when we leave with my buddy and we extend the off-road day too long and it's dark... fatigue the lack of visibility means that you're going to fall. at night you have to sleep and get back on the bike the next day. these projectors will not change anything.
I talk like an old fart... but it's vaicu.
and the advantage is that you have money left in your pockets to go on a motorbike😁👍❤
That much power, not really necessary for most people I don't think. But a number of times we have not made it home before dark, and it's been good to have some decent lighting even if we're just on the road for the remainder of the trip 👍 But, you know, everyone has their own assholes and opinions 😁🤙
@@MVDBR one thing that I did not specify and which is very important. it's that on our T 700 or other motorcycles, the position of the headlights is fixed on the fairing or crash bar and when you turn on short bends you don't light up where you want to go. this type of lighting is good on the unlit road or on the straight track.
@@atprodT700 yeah that's true but since it's fixed anyway, the more light you got the better. Can also point the pod lights out to the side a little :)
@@MVDBR to do well, you need two long beams mounted in height and two short wide ones mounted lower, i.e. 4 beams.
in France it is 09:00 in the morning and a cold snap of 0°
when is he in australia?
@@atprodT700 it's 6:30pm here and 24 deg 👌🍻
not even a mount for that price 🤔
You get the bracket for mounting to a flat surface
