Van Life Transition: No Hot Water, Everything Leaks, & Toilet Catastrophes - Loving It! RV Vlog Ep 1
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 4,3KPĆed dnem
It has been a slightly bumpy transition to van life in the big old Fiat Ducato Avan Ovation, but thankfully we have overcome all of the little issues that have cropped up so far. This video is a bit of a shambles but hopefully will give you some entertainment and a bit of an insight into what it's like transitioning to living in a motorhome. Can't wait to actually get moving and see some of thi...

iTechworld Beast Mode 12v Lithium Upgrade For Motorhome RV
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 1,4KPĆed 14 dny
We recently picked up this 2nd hand Avan motorhome that was touted as being fully off-grid capable. I think that phrase gets thrown around a lot but there are definitely different levels of off-grid. We needed a LOT more power than was on tap, so I set about sourcing some sweet gear from iTechworld and got busy turning this bus into a power station on wheels. SpaceX Starlink: Setup Experience & Speed Test In Rural Southeast Queensland Australia
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 2,3KPĆed 21 dnem
We documented the process of installing and setting up a Starlink roaming service in Qld Australia. It's very easy to do, but quite costly. The current price for the roaming plan (which can be paused at any time) is $174 AUD per month. I found the download speeds for streaming high definition video etc to be really good, however the upload speed is a little disappointing. Check out Starlink her...

GasGas ES700 vs KTM 690 Enduro: Victorians vs Queensland Single Track Part 2 - MVDBR Enduro #348

In part 2 the weary Victorian lads & I tackle the back side of a hill called Big Purple, then hit some super mint creek bed single tracks. Half way through the last track it was time to pull the pin as fatigue was setting in, so we headed back to town for cold beers, pizza, and a nice warm fire. Best Rear Tyre Upgrade For The 690 Enduro: Goldentyre GT232 Single Track Heaven - MVDBR Enduro #346
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 2,7KPĆed mÄsĂcem
Finally that dang Dunlop D606 rear has been retired - and no mucking around, straight to the best - a Goldentyre GT232 hardcore knobby. The difference is almost inconceivable, the grip is amazing however these tyres don't last long especially on bikes like the 690. On this ride I strung a bunch of single tracks together to create a sweet GPX route for my supporters on Patreon. And found a big s...
This Guy Can Ride A Tenere 700: Quick Kenilworth Rip With The Boys - MVDBR Enduro #345

Juddy teed up a ride at Kenilworth on the weekend, but sadly couldn't make it. So it was up to Mike, Joe, Dan & I to go find some trails to ride - definitely not hard to do around the Kenilworth area. The ride was a bit of a shambles because no one was really leading and we had a wide variety of skill levels but in the end it was still a top day out on the bikes. Dan certainly knows how to hand...

Thanks for the video! Have been on the fence about one of these for months now. I will name drop when I place order at Camel! Cheers from the Statesđșđž
No nonsense video, love it.
I am pretty sure in the state of Missouri (USA) itâs against the rules to have any spot lights triggered from the high beam switch. I am not sure why. Pretty sure you would never get in trouble for it, but if your bike has to pass a safety inspection you would want to disconnect the spotlights before the inspection so they donât catch it.
I am sure itâs a solid state relay that only requires a low voltage signal to allow the relay to pass current. Not like an electro-magnetic really coil that pulls the relay contacts closed. It has the same result and works the same, but it doesnât necessarily take 12 volts to trigger them. I use them in the HVAC industry and some of them can be triggered by anywhere from 3 to 32 volts DC. You can tell itâs solid state because it has a heat sink. That bracket with a hole that looks like a mounting bracket is actually a heat sink. If you were running a lot of current through it that heat sink tag would need to be bolted to metal. On a motorcycle running LED lights with air flow it might be alright. LEDâs donât usually a lot of draw current like a resistive heater would. I bet that relay is rated for way more current than those LEDâs draw from the electrical system.
I dunno how I havenât watched this episode till now đ€·ââïž WOW now I know why you call em all Mad Dogs!! Mick on the AT doesnât Fâmuck about đ€ and that 950 of Mozâs is a farkin BEAST đ
That was kinda hard to watch.

Pfft I had to slow motion it so you's could see anything đ đ Haha cheers mate yeah those bridges can be off putting đ
@@MVDBR sure ya did...i bet the wheelies are edited in as well; at least you admit the bridges are iffy....
Hey mate, just watched your video. Didn't realise where you were until you went over missings bridge. This is our local area too. Are you in the Bauple area

Try the uv function at a local hotel room or brothel and don't forget to check the walls.
Was bad enough at home đ đ„Ž
Too much fun for me...
Maybe stuff the sleeping mat into the sleeping bag?

Couple of questions for you or any other users : 1) Is the view of the rear camera wide enough to act as a blind spot check? 2) Can you display the rear view on top of navigation view, picture in picture style? Thanks
My unit didn't come with any camera đ€·ââïž
Oh the joys of RV's mate!
Non-stop fun đ»
@@MVDBR bro full time engineering job....
Very goodđđđ
The most important question - âCan you keep the beer cold?â
Can confirm. Endless frosty frothies đ»đȘ
Install a filter on the water so the TMV does not block up again or just piss the TMV off, you don't have little kids using the water to get burnt.
Yeah I was planning on bypassing the fuckin thing if it happens again đ€
Shit hot Van life hey, itâs good that ya getting everything sorted before ya actually get out in bumfk no where. Dare ya to grow ya chops 70s style
đ I don't think my burns grow real good mate might have a touch of the alopecia đ
2:34 that's what she said.

The first rule of campervan toilets - don't let anybody eat sweetcorn. And if they do, they have to empty the cassette!
đ đ
Best thing you will ever do is convert your chemical toilet into a composting toilet. I did it on our caravan. Best mod EVER !
Really? đ€ Would be good to sus one out but I don't have the coin to drop on anything like that atm
@@MVDBR not sure what your toilet is like but I actually modified the cassette toilet. Get a new cassette, fit a rod through the centre with a T handle at one end and 2-3 paddles internally to mix compost. Make centre divider out of Perspex and silicone into bowl to separate 1s & 2s. Drill a hole in no 1s compartment and run a tube down to a wee tank under van. I made this from 100mm pvc pipe with a drain tap at one end. No more walks of shame to the dump point đ just dirt/compost every 3-6months.
Thetford make a really good toilet chemical
Since the first time it's been a lot better, I had assumed the previous owners had put some chem in the toilet already but perhaps they hadn't đ đ„Ž

Great stuff Josh, you can fix anything đ
Anything and nothing... if the engine breaks I'm screwed đ Cheers Ian
Love it. Looking forward to more RV videos.
Cheers man! đđ
RV's and Boats take lots of maintenance in small spaces. That Tempering valve looked like a major pain in the ass.
Yeahhhhhh just accessing the shit, what a nightmare. That's what happens I guess when they build shit to look good rather than be serviceable. Cheers
Awesome Bruzz, You can get these recycled â»ïž plastic weaved mats, there pretty cheap and light as, they fold up to nothing, might give you that little bit of outdoor area bling, help you with tracking dirt in your van, my little tip from one Gypsy to another. So cool being off grid mate, once your used to it you'll be like the Guru, already I'm thinking I need you for a 12v project of my own in the distant future.. hope you get a hot shower soon mate đ ah! Shower fixed, good shit.. it's so good to watch what's happening for you mate, no apologies necessary, on ya Johnny Bear and Cain... MDVBRV đ Seriously Josh, a great flick mate, love your work, looking forward to what's coming on your awesome Channel đ đ
Yep good call, 100% those weaved mats are a necessity!
Thanks Juddy! And yeah something like that sounds like the go, currently we have about 67 small mats scattered around the place đ” Happy to help ya with some 12v shit mate but you'd be all over it and no doubt be able to teach me a thing or 2 đ»
good luck man! your doing it .best of luck. can't wait to see your adventures.
Cheers Fez, feet getting itchy. Not long now
