I cant tell for sure, but i might have met him last year. There was a really nice guy with a ton of tractors who let my little brother drive his 1959 struck mini dozer

I have been studying tractor since I was a little kid. And I've never seen one of these before this is quite interesting. Hope I get to see one in person someday.

They were made in my home town (stratford not stamford) and I never knew about them until last year when I saw 3 of them.

Tiller steer and lever steer tractors have always been a great fascination point for me.
Several different manufacturers made them back in the 40s and 50s.

Saw 6 of these little tractors at the Hopewell Steam And Gas Pageant this past summer. Had my tent setup right beside them. Never saw any of them run at the show sadly.

That thing is so cool. I love the simplicity of it.

A "Shuttle shift" drive for forward/reverse that would pair up great with a tractor and front end loader.

Agreed. I use a Moffett brand demountable forklift at work.
One foot is accelerator and the other foot is forward and reverse.
Left hand for steering and right hand for controls just like on most garden tractor FEL setups. Works well. Very efficient and easy to use.

It looks too lightweight to be able to use any implements.

Actually, you could get a sickle mower attachment, bottom plow, cultivators, disc's, front rotary mower, gang mowers, snow plow, etc. I have a couple of these tractors and a few implements. I have sales brochures showing the attachments. A dual rear wheel kit was available along with wheel weights. They are heavier than they look.
