    Thanks for watching, I do think we are going to get that dynamic table at the bottom working soon in a new video!

    Thanks to your video about creating Content Types in SharePoint, I was able to use the data from a gallery in Power Apps to populate multiple Word Documents without using a Premium License. I have been wanting to do a video that shows the process, but I have been busy lately.

      Nice yeah! Doing it that way is pretty nifty too! Thanks for watching DataIsKing as always! Appreciate your continuous support.

    Hello Andrew, great video !
    Say you have repeating information (Invoice No for example). You could copy/paste control properties in the template doc but then, the flow connector would detect all these duplicated fields and you'd have to fill them individually (which is redundant). How would you approach this use case ?

    Do you have a video about using the "Get file content" and SP "Create file" actions to copy the body (or parts thereof) of a document into a new one? I understand docx is a zip filled with xml but I'm not having much success with just using the file content raw.

      Hi George to get the body of a document I have used free 3rd party tools that convert the document to a .txt file. There may be other ways to do this but I do not currently have a video on that topic as of yet.

    hii! thanks for the great video! wanted to ask is there any way to generate template based on user choice
    1. user fill up a microsoft form to select which template they want
    2. there is a sharepoint that will locate over 1000 of word templates
    3. based on user choice, the word template will be populated with their information
    And the placeholder for all templates is the same
    i am facing trouble to handle the dynamicfileschema, it would be great if you can do a vid on this topic! thanks a lot

    Awesome stuff! Is there a way to do this within excel for a template document? Have information go into a specific cell?

    • @andrewhess123
      @andrewhess123  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Oh yeah of course! But it probably would not be premium and would use the Excel Connector

      @@andrewhess123 I’ll have to check out the excel connector. Last time I did it wanted tables.
      We have a spreadsheet that is used as a word doc and would like to get that data stored in a List and send them the excel sheet. Eventually get them on a word doc.
      Thanks!

      Good point, yes I do think it may require a table to populate too... hmmm@@evilmob

      @@andrewhess123 yeah it seems like a tricky one that may not be possible? I’ll slowly keep suggesting a word doc. Would you know (or video) anything about the excel templates in dataverse?

      Excel templates in Dataverse? This is not something I've done before, but now intrigued. @@evilmob

    Is there any way to auto populate the PowerApps V2 connector? As I have a form with more than 100 fields.

    • @andrewhess123
      @andrewhess123  Před 6 měsíci

      Hey Sam, I would combine some of the fields, and then use a delimiter like a comma to split them all back up. This does sound like a good video I could make!

    Hi Andrew, great video. I have followed and able to update the values but the only issue is with multiple line of text column type which is enhanced rich text . I get the values from another master list and i am updating the values into document library list for the multiple line of text . But in document library the values are showing as sample data for the multiple line of text. Similarly its showing same values in word document as well. I used HTML and rich text editor controls in power apps too . Their its showing perfectly but while creating docx file using power automate all this happened. Is their any way can we update html forma data values without using premium connector? Kindly respond as soon as possible. Thank you!

      Hopefully my last response helps with content conversion in preview. If that doesn't there are other manually ways people remove html tags using power automate also.

      Hi Soulebi, yes, Microsoft does change some things but I believe everything in this video still currently applies today. You can double check the licensing guide because it does change: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/pricing-billing-skus
