    After the rocket stove tutorial I thought I could adapt the idea into a wok burner this would make a great centre piece to any outdoor party, it would be amazing for any oriental style cooking using a wok

    This is very cool. I can actually make this for myself with some metal I've got and my everlast welder. I really like watching projects where the boundaries of what I believe I can make get expanded. Thank you.

      Kaikoura72 a seen from Abert and Castleo, sure I spelt there name wrong....... I mix the two up but the fat guy was cooking Irish coffee with a blow torch. Was a earlier 1930's film.

      I use welding gloves while bbq to flip meat near the rear. Especially to reposition coals once they are lit.

      Обычный кварц полностью поглощает ультрафиолет всех длин + "зайчик" не схватить из-за затемнения оптики.
      Но, естественно, лучше очки для сварки.
      И одержу хб с пропиткой, ибо от УВЧ УФ меланома растет как на дрожжах...

      Close, but It's not a pure rocket stove. A rocket stove will self draw air and won't require a blower. If this were a rocket stove and purely stand alone without electricity someone could mass produce and sell to street vendors and festival food vendors.

    A true craftsman. It looked like you made most of your benders a sine of a true craftsman. Most would say I would do that if I had his tools. The only paid for tool i seen was welder grinder and few hand tools. Well done worth watching

    My main suggestion for improvement is to add a flame shield to prevent heat from reaching the wok handle (like the pro burners have).

      Yes, It could have been a perfect if the heat shield had been provided. Without it the hand that holds the pot handle could be in a very dangerous hot spot.

    Cool burner it came out nice, weird welding though, I’ve never seen anyone string a bunch of tack welds together like that instead of running full beads, but i guess it works. Also like the cooking in welding gloves.

    You also need a flame shield on the handle side of the wok.

    That is what I have been wanting. Because the 32 nozzle gas burner is very expensive to run
    Propane is expensive

      Howard Petterson that be the other thing. Main people I see in Tulsa stop at one of the stations is cops, mail workers, certain food trucks. Goes about a 1.00 a gallon, not sure how that mesures in a cylinder. Be great if it had more access, but they probably jack up the price.

    Turn your amps up and keep moving mate. Heat up both bits of steel before you run with the weld , that might mean going backwards before going forwards and finishing off with a backwards stroke to fill any creator. One continuous weld will mean moving around the work piece as you weld. Practise this with a couple of dummy runs. Remember turn up your amps and move faster your work will look fantastic. Welder of 33 year mig tig and stick

    I have a spare jet engine that I replaced from my F16. I believe I can set it to an afterburner mode to achieve a similar result.

    I do a lot of outdoor wok cooking; commercial propane wok burner. I saw the Rocket Stove video1st. I was already thinking of how to adapt it for wok. I really like your solution - and using spent tanks!

    instead of a hair dryer just go get a cheap air mattress blower than attach it to a dimmer switch to control the air flow. It's what I used for my furnace/forge blower.

      @@zikraramadan2614 hair dryer's aren't designed for long term use and will fry themselves pretty quickly. They also don't have very good blower controls so you can't really change temperature on your fire all that easily. A air mattress blower is just a simple air blower inside a easy to use package and can withstand prolonged use and work fine with dimmer switches
