Hi Relaxed Family, there is rain falling if you look closely. I wanted it to be subtle in this one - for people that want a darker screen but to still be able to see something slightly. The rain is not the same recording as previous. I want to make a night rain series of videos which will eventually have its own playlist for you to have a number of high quality choices. I was suffering anxiety and depression, serious, a friend suggested I go to Tenerife to get some sun but I actually felt worse. Arriving back in Manchester I stayed with my niece and it rained heavily that night. I felt a calm and comfort thatâs hard to describe, but I know thatâs why everyone, including me, will keep coming back here so thank you Relaxed Guy, youâre great.
Itâs good you are taking affirmative action to try and help with the anxiety and depression. Thereâs something about the rain thatâs so comforting for me and many others including yourself by the sound of it. The most natural rain sound video Iâve seen. Throughout my life, rain has been a calming and happy vibe for me, unlike most people who prefer sun. I found this video around 4 months ago and god itâs helped me sleep. Iâm a very light sleeper and this manages to help me sleep 6+ hours without waking up. Thank you for that. đ§đđ»

I liked this, but I do come across some that don't have the sound I want, and I find that CZcams simply give us no other way of ranking by preference but to dislike. If you neither like nor dislike, you have no way of knowing if you've even sen the video before. It makes me cross that YT was so arrogant as to remove the gradient 1 to 5 (years ago now), but that's life.

This video made the claim that it was a gentle rain, not an 8 hour down pour at a high volume of recording, making it difficult to get the volume right, unless you want to drown out all other noises altogether.

No anymore, I have used this every night for 9 months and in the past one month or more, advertisement has suddenly come up and I have experienced this a couple of times . Sad to say as it wakes up my babies with a sudden noise of a random ad.

I first came to this channel and exact video in October of 2017 when my first daughter came home at around 3 months old. This helped her and me sleep every night, 5 years and 2 more babies later, the most recent being born in late 2021. This channel has become a staple of my family's bed time routine. I'm in my office with the lights out, sound system on with a little bit of base with my 2 month old sleeping behind me peacefully listening to these soothing rain sounds. My oldest is 4 going on 5 and still nuzzles into me at night when I turn these video on.

Thing is with anxiety is you can get uptight about anything. I have tinnitus, that at times seems really loud and I have an armoury of weapons that I use to overcome. Rain sounds are probably the number one weapon. Thereâs something about rain that just calms the mind. It saddens me when I read comments from people who battle tinnitus like itâs the winning enemy, a constant source of worry. While it can sometimes mildly bother me, overwhelmingly Iâve just learned to relax about it. Itâs just a noise, after all. We hear noises throughout our lifeâs.

I am using it for few nights now, it is really working. I don't allow it all through the 8 hours, once I am done sleeping the first round, I do put it off and continue to sleep. If at any time I couldn't sleep back after few minutes I would put it on again. So far it has been helpful.

You're welcome. I think a lot of the apps use downloaded sounds. I have had most of the big apps like that approach me for my sounds, but it takes a lot of work and I prefer to share them with the channel
