I am 20 yrs out I had a double transplant. this is a very good video and confirms what I tell people when they ask me about transplant. I have cystic Fibrosis. I am not 63 yrs old thanks to USC and Dr Vaughn Starnes. I always have told people if you are turned down from one program try another one. One thing I do tell people is this is the only way you can live and enjoy many things in life. I wanted to see my son graduate from High School. Now I have grand kids. I also tell them when they ask what ifI die on the table. First thing you may not know it. Second thing you save your loved ones watching you suffer for a few yrs with out having hope of a life with them. They will remember you as being alive and not suffering. I'm hoping to squeeze out another 10. I feel I already beat C.F. As I have class mates whom have died of other things And I'm still here. DEC 12 1996 I got my new freind who I never met but talk to.
