Conservation & Preservation of Environment is our religio-cultural heritage. Principles of Ahimsa Parmo Dharmah, Parasparopgraho Jeevanam, Basudhev Kutumbkam are richness of our religions & cultures. In addition to Vanaspati (Plants), 4 out of 5 Panchtatva i.e. Jal (Water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air), Prithvi (Earth) are also considered living being in our culture, because miliions of living beings are there in them. All organisms in all tatvas are working together in different ways to preserve these tatva which are building units of all living structures on the earth. So our religious culture itself teaches us to respect all living beings. With modern education, it is important to educate the society in rescpect of our religio-cultural values. Some Saints are doing a lot to promote such values. Saints like Dr. Lokesh Muni, Sadguru, Swami Ramdev, B. K.
