Ring flash for Sony A7C..Should one opt for MF R76 without TTL or still buy MF R76 S+
There is a significant cost difference also.

For standardisation, I would shoot with the flash in manual mode so TTL on the the MFR76(s) is not needed. HOWEVER, the TTL functionality on the MFR-76(s) is extremely accurate and will mean you do not need to alter any exposure settings or flash power no matter the subject to camera distance. My advice, invest in the TTL version so you have the option of both. One thing not mentioned in this video is that the TTL (dental) version also has an easy way of adjusting the power ratio between the two flash tubes, which is useful for cross lighting or demonstrating texture.

is there a way that you can export you setting so I can import the setting on my camera.
    Thank you

Hi just about to get the Sonya6400 and the ring flash you show in the video. Do you think this camera is ideal as I am just starting of in dental photography

Yep - excellent choice. The a6400 has a crop sensor which is good for dental photography. I recommend making sure you get the eTTL version of the ring flash - called the Godox MF-R76S+

Thanks for that. I have ordered the ring flash you have advised, the sony 90mm macro lens but gone for the A7C, it was £400 more. Look forward to your further videos in the future.

I have GODOX MF12 I’m loving the results but I want to ask you should I buy the MF-R76S plus as I’m using alpha 7 IV with 90mm Sony G macro lens.

@@drhamzadentalandmedicalcenter I would stick with the MF12 unless you want a simpler set up :-)
